Hello! My name is Savanna, I live in Vista but I’m able to travel reasonable distances to care for your pup! I’ve taken care of animals for over 7 years, including birds, cats and dogs (including seniors), rodents and reptiles, too! My services include grooming (ex, bathing, ear and teeth cleaning, brushing). I’ve even volunteered at numerous animal shelters. I also have experience with anxious pups, specifically dogs with separation anxiety. Unfortunately, due to physical health issues, I can’t walk dogs for more that 15 minutes at a time. Before coming to watch your furry friend, it’d be really helpful for me to know about their temperament; are they dog friendly? Do they get nervous around strangers? Do they have any health issues I should be notified of? And anything else you want me to know about them! I’m excited and eager to take care of your fluffy family member and will do my best to make sure they get the best care that I can give them!

Are there pre-existing injuries, physical limitations, or mobility issues? How does the dog react to other dogs, strangers, (e.g., reactivity, barking, hiding)?Does the dog have any resource guarding habits around food, toys, or sleeping areas? Are there specific phobias, such as a fear of loud noises or thunderstorms or separation anxiety? Are there any escape risks (e.g., bolting out the front door or slipping through gates)? How does the dog do on a leash, and do they pull or react to passing traffic? For Cat Owners: What are the mealtimes, portion sizes, and where is the food kept? Are there any dietary restrictions, allergies, or specific foods to avoid? Where are the litter boxes, and what is the preferred cleaning frequency? Please include preffered method of disposal (e.g.,specific indoor or outdoor trash can) Where are the cleaning supplies kept in case the cat goes outside the box? If the cat is scared of new people, where are their favorite hiding spots so I can check on them without causing stress? Does the cat have any anxieties (e.g., loud noises, thunderstorms) or specific behavioral quirks (e.g., zoomies after pooping, yowling)? Is the cat an indoor or outdoor cat? Is the cat an escape artist who will try to bolt as soon the door opens? How do they prefer to play? Is the cat allowed on the counters, or are certain rooms off-limits?
