In a clients home I like to follow their lead. Animals tend to be happier with a routine so I make sure to do everything as closely as you would do it. It’s also important to create a positive experience with the animal and build a connection. I believe the way to almost anyone’s heart is food and play.
Information Savanna J. would like to know about your pet
Most important thing to know about a pet is medications, and diet or if they have any behaviors that could cause harm to themselves or other animals. I am use to working with reactive or people aggressive animals but it’s always good to have a heads up.
A typical day
With any animal I like to make playing a priority. With cats that’s laser pointer or wand toys, dogs that’s fetch or walking. Another good way to bond is to teach tricks like high fives or rolling over. When they’re finally exhausted, lots and lots of pets is a must.

I’ve had everything from rats to cats to dogs since I was six years old. I’ve done pet sitting, dog and cat behavior modification. My time feels better spent with an animal, especially if I can enhance their lives. My plan was to be a dog trainer, but I sustained an injury that prevents be from walking dogs over 20lbs. I love to pet sit larger dogs and can play with them but will be unable to walk them. I can assist with training (or behavior correction) just ask!

Savanna tool fanatastic care of our cats. Despite one of them dealing with quite a bad case of anxiety, they worked hard to ensure they received all of the food, water, and attention that they needed. We received daily pictures and summaries of what was going on. Savanna left our house cleaner than we handed it over. I would absolutely recommend them!!!
