I work for myself and work from home meaning I make my own schedule. This allows me to have a lot of flexibility with my schedule, and in turn I have ample time to rearrange my schedule daily in order to make sure your furry friend gets all the love, care, and attention they need while you’re gone!

With my extensive pet care knowledge, I am able to do whatever your furry friend needs while you’re gone. I have experience with very shy and anxious cats (have one at home!), giving medications, and more. All I want is for them to feel safe, happy, and comfortable while you are away!

A typical day
I love to give your kitty a lot stimulation which may be through playing with string toys, creating new games with them, or playing bird sounds on my phone. If they like or allow it and you have a brush, I like to give them brushes (spa treatment as I call it!), and then of course lots of pets and attention. But really I just go with what they are feeling that day as to if they want/need more attention or stimulation each day. Whatever will make them the happiest and least anxious! After my visit, I will send you a full report and lots of pictures showing how it went! ?

I have had cats my entire life, so I am very experienced with how to care for them, and how to understand them. Growing up, I would be the designated cat sitter when my parents friends would go out of town, and I loved it! I love caring for animals as if they were my own while their owners are out of town! Besides my personal pet experience, I also have professional experience caring for cats. I was an animal welfare specialist at two different animal shelters throughout the years. this job included caring for the animals until they found their forever home!

Savanna was an excellent cat sitter; I can’t recommend her enough! She was incredibly attentive to our cat, paying close attention to her needs and spending lots of time playing and engaging with her. It was clear she genuinely cared and built a special bond with her while we were away, making us feel at ease. The best part were the detailed updates she sent after each visit (+ many photos!!!) Her writing captured the personality of our cat and made us feel like we were there. Savanna is also easy to communicate with. We always felt confident that our cat was in great hands with her.

Savanna is great! She left very detailed summaries and pictures of her check ins that helped settle my nerves when I was gone from my cat. She took her time and was very responsive! She thought outside the box and came up with ideas to help my cat feel comfortable and cared for while I was gone. Highly recommend
