Availability
Caring for animals is already a part of my everyday life. I work full-time as a Veterinary Assistant and am currently pursuing my Veterinary Technician degree through Penn Foster. Outside of work, I spend time caring for my own dogs, Rhettley and Gunner, and I also regularly help care for my family's dogs, Oakley, Mokah, and Koda. My schedule allows me to provide dependable care on Fridays, evenings, and other available times throughout the week. I understand how important consistency is for pets, so I make it a priority to follow each pet's normal routine as closely as possible. Whether it's feeding, walks, medications, potty breaks, or playtime, I'll make sure your pet receives the same level of care and attention they're used to at home.

Safety, trust & environment
Every pet is unique, so I tailor my care to their individual personality, routine, and needs. I always take time to build trust with each pet and make sure they feel safe and comfortable. At home, I care for my two dogs, Rhettley and Gunner, by providing daily exercise, enrichment, playtime, training, grooming, and plenty of love and attention. I also help care for my family's dogs—Oakley, Mokah, and Koda—which has given me experience managing multiple dogs with different personalities and energy levels. When caring for pets in a client's home, I follow all instructions carefully, including feeding schedules, potty breaks, walks, medications, playtime, and bedtime routines. I treat every home with respect and every pet like they're part of my own family. I also provide regular photo and text updates so you can relax knowing your pet is happy and well cared for.
Information Savanah S. would like to know about your pet
Before caring for your pet, I like to learn as much as possible so I can provide the best experience for both of us. Helpful information includes: * Feeding schedule and portion sizes * Daily routine and potty schedule * Exercise needs and favorite activities * Medical conditions or medications * Allergies or dietary restrictions * Any fears, anxieties, or triggers (such as thunderstorms or fireworks) * Behavioral concerns, including leash reactivity or aggression toward other animals * House rules (furniture, crate training, etc.) * Favorite toys, treats, and ways they like to be rewarded * Emergency contact information and your preferred veterinarian The more I know about your pet before our visit, the better I can make them feel comfortable, safe, and cared for while you're away.
A typical day
I love making sure pets stay physically active and mentally engaged while their families are away. Activities are always based on each pet's age, personality, and energy level. Some of the activities I enjoy include: * Walks around the neighborhood * Playing fetch or tug-of-war * Puzzle toys and enrichment games * Lots of cuddles and one-on-one attention * Potty breaks and outdoor time * Treat games (with owner approval) * Quiet companionship for senior or shy pets My goal is for every pet to feel happy, safe, and loved until you're back home.

Pet care experience
Hi! I'm Savanah, and caring for animals isn't just my job—it's what I truly love. I have over 4 years of hands-on experience working as a Veterinary Assistant and am currently continuing my education through Penn Foster's Veterinary Technician program. Every day I work with dogs and cats of all ages, sizes, and personalities, from energetic puppies to senior pets that need a little extra TLC. My veterinary experience allows me to recognize changes in a pet's behavior or health, safely administer medications (when needed), and provide calm, compassionate care while making your pet feel comfortable and loved. Whether your pet needs a fun walk, a quick potty break, playtime, cuddles, feeding, medication, or just someone to keep them company while you're away, I'll care for them as if they were my own. I know how important it is to trust the person caring for your furry family member, and my goal is to give you peace of mind while you're away. During every visit, I'll provide plenty of updates, photos, and communication so you always know how your pet is doing. **A little about me:** 🐾 Veterinary Assistant with 4+ years of experience 🎓 Penn Foster Veterinary Technician student 🐶 Experienced with dogs of all breeds and sizes 🐱 Comfortable caring for cats 💊 Experienced administering medications ❤️ Experienced with young pets and senior pets 📸 Photo updates after every visit 🚗 Reliable, dependable, and committed to exceptional pet care I can't wait to meet you and your pets!
