Hi there!! I’m Savanah, I’m 30 years old and previously worked professionally in animal care as a vet tech for 5 years before transitioning to pet sitting full time after moving to the Asheville area from Chicago. I have experience with animals of all shapes, sizes, and ages, and have yet to find one that I didn’t love! Because of my history in animal medical care I also have experience giving medication and monitoring sick pets, and am animal CPR certified. Outside of pet sitting I own and operate a small homestead farm and kitchen business in Canton with my husband, because of this I am very flexible in my scheduling availability. I completely understand that leaving your pet can be a little scary at first but you can rest assured that they will be in safe and loving hands with me. I hope to meet you and your pet soon!

Savana was great, she gave our dog Toshie wonder attention and love during visits. Just what she needed.
Savanah is amazing! Her daily check-ins with update and photos really eased any worries we had about our cats and helped with how much we were missing them!
Savanah is wonderful! I felt bad about leaving my kitties for several days, but good about knowing they would be getting good care.
I cannot recommend Savanah highly enough. She was exceptional. From our first meet and greet I knew my cat was in the best possible hands. This was my first experience with a drop in. We had great communication. She took great care with everything I asked. I would not hesitate to recommend her for her services, and I will not hesitate to look for her again when I need her services.
Our cats love Savanah! All three come out and ask for attention from her, even the shy one. She also makes sure she attends to each of them. Very Reliable :)
She was perfect with the pups and took extra time with them while I was working a 12 hr shift! So kind and sweet with the dogs!

Zeitplan
Since moving to WNC from Chicago I’ve been fortunate enough to be able to make pet care my full time job! Which is awesome because I can be flexible with my day to day scheduling based on your needs and requirements! I recently bought my first home in Canton but travel to Asheville and Candler daily for work so I am able to cater to all three areas! Currently I work at farmers markets on Thursday afternoons and Saturday mornings so these are the only times I would be unavailable but am always willing to be flexible when I am able!

Because of my medical experience I am very comfortable with a variety of different levels of need. I have a soft spot for senior pets and am experienced in medication administration for both dogs and cats (even the tricky ones!) and blood sugar monitoring for diabetes. My preference is drop in visits but am willing to discuss boarding on a case by case basis as long as your pet gets along well with other dogs and cats.

I have a fully fenced in front yard that your pet will have full access too, my dog and I currently spends a lot of our day hanging out and playing in the yard. We try to go on hikes throughout the week when possible and would love to bring your pet along! My dog can be playful with other dogs but also loves to settle in for a good nap and snuggle.
