Over the last 16 years I have had the pleasure of working with cats and dogs in corporate and freelance settings. I’ve had the opportunity to watch a tiny 3lb chihuahua puppy to 100lb German shepherds, from 3 month old puppies to senior dogs taking several medications at different times of the day. I’m confident I will be able to follow any instructions you provide.

She was incredibly easy to work with. We booked within a week of leaving and I wasn't sure if that would make things more difficult to get worked out, but that wasn't the case at all. It was a breeze with both pick up and drop off. Our dog was sad with us gone and she worked to make sure that he would cheer up and eat.

Satsuki was amazing. She watched our 5-month-old husky overnight last minute and made our first boarding experience completely stress-free. She sent photo updates, communicated clearly, and truly went above and beyond to make sure our pup was well cared for. We felt totally comfortable leaving him with her and would absolutely book again. 10/10 recommend.

Schedule
I started cat sitting when I lived in New York City where I did drop-in in visits for an hour or two. I also fostered over 20 cats over the two years I lived in Manhattan. Through this experience I worked with newborn kittens to senior cats. I gained experience with dogs when I worked for Biscuits and Bath, a doggy daycare where I watched and played with a variety of breeds from Yorkshire terriers to Bernese mountain dogs. I gained valuable skills in basic dog training, walking multiple dogs at a time, and general care for dogs with different temperaments and personalities.

Since May 2021, I've worked with over 50 clients to care for their dogs and cats in the DC/MD area. I've watched a variety of breeds and ages, some of which have had special needs or needed medication. After we establish pick up/drop off times and dates, we can go into what your expectations are and how I will meet you and your pet's needs. About my home: I rent a 3 bedroom house that I share with my boyfriend who serves the PA National Guard. The yard is fenced in, regularly checked for escape attempts, and is always monitored if dogs are out. Items I provide: Dog beds Small, medium, and large crates Crate cover Water bowl Variety of dog toys Wet wipes Towels to clean up unexpected messes Cleaning supplies
Pets
A typical day
When dog sitting, they will go out to the yard first thing in the morning, multiple times during the day (weather permitting), and one last potty break before bed. Because I have my own dog, I always feed all dogs separately, even if they are from the same household. They will be separated by a baby gate, individual crates, or one dog will be inside eating while the others are outside in the fenced in yard. When I do cat drop ins, I will clean all food/water bowls, refill water, refill food as directed, scoop litter and throw it out daily, provide my own bags to dispose of the litter, sweep around the litter box, and give your pets as much attention as they want.
