Holiday break in the country for your dog

As a 5 star licensed dog boarder with Basingstoke and Borough Dean Borough Council I bring over two years of professional experience and lifetime of personal experience as a dedicated dog owner. My partner and I are both dog first aid trained. We are also fully insured. I’ve cared for dogs of all ages, from training energetic puppies to providing gentle support for senior dogs. Over the years, I’ve had the pleasure of looking after the beloved pets of friends and colleagues, which has given me a wide range of experience with different breeds and temperaments. Both my partner and I are dog first aid trained, ensuring your furry family member is always in safe hands while they stay with us. I currently am on maternity leave, so I’ll be with your dog all day, giving them plenty of attention and care. I live in Laverstoke, and I offer at least two walks a day, unless you’d prefer otherwise. We’ll explore the beautiful countryside around Laverstoke, Whitchurch, and Overton—there’s so much for your dog to discover! While I don’t have a dog myself, I do have a baby, but, they’ll never be left alone together. Your pup will have my full attention, and with so many great places to roam, they’re sure to have a wonderful time. I have a fully fenced garden that your dog can access anytime, and I’m happy to let them roam anywhere in the house or stick to specific areas—whatever you prefer! Since I work from home, I can even work outside so your dog can enjoy the garden all day long. I’m also happy to create a dog diary, giving you a little update on how your dog spends each day with me. Feel free to check out the photos of the garden!

Saskia looked after our dog Pepper overnight. It was her first night staying away with someone other than family and Saskia was great. She is knowledgeable about dogs, and has a calm and friendly manner so both Pepper and I were reassured. Pepper was kept busy with walks and entertainment and come back very happy and I got some nice updates during the day. She is already booked for her next stay so highly recommend.

Doggy Day Care • Feb 08, 2025

Teds is an anxious boy who loves nothing more than being with his pawrents, but we do need our own time sometimes 🙈 Saskia made every effort to make Teddys stay comfortable giving him love when he cried for us. Saskia took Ted on a walk and we got some lovely pictures and updates on the day. Will be booking again 🙏🏻

Saskia is very nice and Eiko had a good time when she stayed over. They sent nice pictures of the walk and Eiko seemed pleased.

Our 15 month old German pointer had a lovely time with Saskia and Mason. He was made to feel at home immediately & when he was a bit lonely on the first night (he normally sleeps with our cat), he stayed in their room. He is a very affectionate dog who needs lots of cuddles and wears his emotions on his sleeve. They live in the countryside with direct access into the fields behind for walks which Ozzy loved as he is a high energy dog. He was a very happy boy when we picked him up, so we could tell immediately that he enjoyed his holiday with this charming couple. We would definitely recommend them and Ozzy would love to stay with them again soon!

A typical day

A typical day with us is well-structured and engaging. We begin with a morning walk, followed by activities designed for mental stimulation. After a lunchtime stroll, we have more playtime in the afternoon, with the option for an evening walk as well. We incorporate games like fetch and practice commands, and we often provide treats in containers to encourage problem-solving. Your dog will enjoy a fulfilling and balanced day!
