Pet Sitting and Care
Currently I am a veterinary student with lots of animal care experience. I was raised on a ranch with horses, farm animals, dogs, cats and even reptiles and ferrets. I have experienced in puppy and dog training and have some veterinary care hours under my belt. I also foster animals from the humane society. My husband is a wildland firefighter who has been helping me take care of our animals and pet sitting while I go to classes. We are both from Washington state. I have worked in veterinary settings like the Washington State Veterinary College Emergency Animal Hospital as a tech and for an equine hospital. We are new to the Marshalltown area, just bought our first house and are super excited to continue pet sitting in Iowa. I do have classes during the school year. We recently bought a new house with some land and are nearly finished with the construction of the fence for the backyard. I am willing to watch your animals at your house as well. My schedule for over nights usually consist of frequent walks and potty time and playing in the backyard.

What an awesome experience to have reliable pet care! Thank you so much!

Best boarding I've ever had. She sent multiple picture updates on my puppy and I could tell when I picked him up that he was well taken care of and had fun! Will definitely recommend her to anyone and will be using her again!

Sasha is the perfect fit for my Gracie. She lives in space that is very similar to her origins. There are horses, goats and another dog! I'm very thankful that Sasha is available for me and flexible around my appointment times.

Sasha does a thorough job checking the food and water. She is also on top of the details of your house setting, will definitely use again.
Sasha was amazing with Rick. He had such a great time and even shared regular update pictures, she was even happy to cater to his dietary needs. She had plenty of room for him to run and play. I will definitely be booking her again in the future.

Tigger hid from Sasha every visit. She did everything necessary for him though. Will be using again.

Home characteristics
Safety, trust & environment
We just bought are own house after moving to Marshalltown and it sits on 5 acres with lots of yard and pasture space. Our dog enjoys the large fenced back yard and rolling around in the grass, and I’m sure yours will too. :) just in order to ensure the safety of your pets, we do ask to let us know beforehand if your dogs get along with others and if they are familiar with having access to a backyard space.

A typical day
My dog loves to play fetch and tug of war so I am very familiar with fun outlets for energy. We go outside and walk to the park up the road and play there. The backyard is very spacious and the dogs love to watch the squirrels in the trees and play in the grass.

- Please let me know if any health conditions or habits your dogs might have beforehand, if they are potty trained or not. I like to make sure all visiting animals are comfortable and that I have any important information beforehand to adequately handle their stay. INFO FOR DROP OFF/ PICK UP : My normal “hours of operation” are from 6-8am and 6-8pm, so please schedule drop offs and pickups between those times. There are sometimes special instances where I can accommodate different times, but that just depends on my schedule. Please schedule it as an exact time. If you are running late, please text me so we can reschedule if we need to! I do have classes during the fall and spring semester so my husband will be with them while I am at class.
