Pet care fits seamlessly into my daily routine because I work from home! I have plenty of flexibility to spend quality time with pets throughout the day — whether that’s giving belly rubs, playtime, or going out for walks. I live in a quiet neighborhood with great walking paths, so it’s easy and enjoyable to take pets out for fresh air and exercise multiple times a day. Having a furry companion around is always a joy!

Whether I’m caring for pets in my home or in a client’s home, I treat them as if they were my own — with love, attentiveness, and respect. I genuinely enjoy spending time with animals, so it never feels like a chore; it’s truly a treat! In my home, pets are welcome to make themselves comfortable — they’re allowed on furniture and in the bed unless you prefer otherwise. I make sure they have a clean, safe space to relax, access to fresh water, regular potty breaks, and lots of attention and affection throughout the day. When I’m in a client’s home, I follow your instructions carefully and aim to keep your pet’s routine as consistent as possible. I know how important it is for pets to feel secure in their own space, and I always respect your home while making sure your pet feels loved and well cared for.

Information Sasha J. would like to know about your pet

It’s very important to me to understand any special needs, medical conditions, behaviors, or unique quirks your pet may have — whether it’s not getting along with other dogs, being nervous around kids, trying to sneak out the door, or only responding to commands in Spanish (ha!). The more I know, the better I can care for them. I always request a meet and greet before confirming a booking. It’s a great way for us to make sure your pet and I are a good fit — which is key to a safe and happy experience! This is also the perfect time to go over care instructions, routines, and anything else you'd like me to know, so you can relax while you're away knowing your pet is in good hands.

A typical day

I love keeping pets happy, active, and engaged! Fun activities I enjoy doing with the pets I watch include playing fetch, going on walks or hikes, tug-of-war, toy time, cuddle sessions, or just relaxing together at home. I’m also happy to hang out and watch some TV with a snuggly pup or cat — whatever helps them feel loved and at ease! I’m always open to suggestions, too. If your pet has a favorite park, trail, or activity, just let me know — I’m more than happy to accommodate and make sure they get to do what they love most.

Pet care experience

Your pet’s new best friend 🐾❤️ Hi there! My name is Sasha and I have excellent references I can provide outside of this profile! I’ve been caring for pets since I was 15. Friends and family have long trusted me to walk, feed, love, and spend quality time with their furry companions — and I absolutely cherish it. I bring years of experience and am happy to provide glowing references upon request! I’ve worked with: Elderly pets who need gentleness and routine and medication Energetic puppies who need attention and playtime Big dogs, tiny dogs, and just about everything in between I work from home during the week and have a flexible work schedule. I do not have any pets of my own. ✅ I offer: House sitting via overnight stays in your home for all types of pets Boarding well-behaved small dogs (under 25 pounds) in my pet-friendly home My home has a clean, shaded, paved yard and is in a quiet neighborhood with winding sidewalks, perfect for relaxed dog walks. Pets are welcome on the furniture and bed unless you say otherwise — their comfort comes first! Caring for animals brings true joy to my life. I understand how deeply important your pet is to you, and what it’s like to entrust a member of your family with another person. I care for every animal and home as if it were my own — with love, attentiveness, and respect. I’m great with communication and daily updates. P.S. While many of my reviews may be from a few years ago, that’s simply because I paused my Rover services. I’m now back and excited to build new relationships — more recent reviews to come!

I cannot express enough how grateful we are for Sasha’s exceptional care of our dog, Casper, while we were out of the country for 8 days. From the moment we met Sasha, it was clear that she is not just a dog sitter, she is a true animal lover who treats every pet like her own. Throughout our trip, we received regular updates and adorable pictures of Casper, which gave us so much peace of mind. Whether it was a quick walk in the park or relaxing on the couch, we could see how happy and relaxed he was under Sasha's care. It was clear that she was giving him plenty of love, attention, and exercise. She even took him on walks everyday, which he absolutely loved! We would absolutely love to have Sasha take care of Casper again in the future.

Terrible experience!. We had to leave on our trip earlier than expected to attend a family emergency and although she accommodated this request, it soon turned out to be a nightmare. Since she took them she started complaining they are pooping and peeing inside. This activity is highly unusual for them as both are potty trained also, I've never had any kind of issues with any other sitters. But, the benefit of the doubt, perhaps the dogs are stressed it is a new place. Just 24hts later she says she no longer can take care of them and to find someone or a friend. We don't have anyone otherwise we wouldn't use rover, so intell her I will contact another sitter. THAT SAME NIGHT I was able to find someone who was ready to take them, but she had a problem with that because it was 1 hr away from her location.. after this I don't hear from her, for the rest of the day and of course at this time I am panicking because the night before she was texting non stop, and now there is pure silence... The next day I was reached by Rove care team. I explained and gave every detail and told them we do have a solution, however, I have not heard from her and I don't know about my dogs... Rover had to tell her she must be in communication with the owner until the dogs are handed over, and ONLY THEN is when I heard from her and about my dogs....eventually the new sitter thankfully was able to meet her half way and I am finally able to be at peace. It's been 4 days since the new sitter has them, and as I had expected, no incidents whatsoever. At this point i do not believe her part of story.. and let's say there is some truth in it, there is absolutely NO REASON that can justify the silence and the abrupt cut of commination after knowing there is a solution, after I had already told her I arranged and paid extra for my dogs to be elsewhere. On top of all that, she requested a specific amount of money to be compensated for her time, the work and for not being able to book another reservation. She was paid for "her services". despite the last minute change and stress of having to look for someone else while dealing with family matters ..And just for the record, I also left a tip for the alleged incident but not the amount she requested... As per her text, she didn't take them outside as per schedule ...then the the dogs did what they had to do.

Sasha was so great! She asked a lot of important questions about our dog’s needs and preferences to make sure he had a great stay. She was so kind to send photos and videos as an update. We couldn’t recommend her enough!

Sasha has house-sat and watched my elderly cat many times, often for weeks at a time. She's always gone above and beyond when it comes to caring for my cat-- each time I've gotten back from a long trip, my cat seemed happy and calm. She's always communicative, sending updates and photos. It's such a relief to have a reliable petsitter like Sasha, so that I can enjoy my vacation and not worry about things at home. Highly recommend!
