In My Home: When pets stay with me, I make sure they feel right at home. I provide a warm, friendly environment with lots of one-on-one attention. I maintain their regular schedule, offer plenty of playtime, and ensure they have a cozy, safe place to rest. My own dog, Benji—a small Shih Tzu–terrier mix—is friendly and helps guests feel comfortable quickly. In My Client’s Home: When I care for pets in their own home, I keep everything as close to their normal routine as possible. I follow feeding instructions, walk routes, play preferences, and any special care needs. I’m respectful of the home, reliable with timing, and make sure pets get the same love and attention they’re used to.

I have a dog myself - small dog hope that is okay. He is a very friendly, energetic, and very loving to humans as well new dogs.
A typical day
I love keeping pets happy and engaged, so I tailor activities to their personality and energy level. For active dogs, I’ll go on walks, play fetch, explore the neighborhood, or have fun training sessions. For more low-key pups, we can enjoy gentle play, enrichment toys, puzzle feeders, or cozy cuddle time. I also love giving plenty of belly rubs, brushing sessions, and one-on-one attention. My goal is always to make sure every pet feels loved, entertained, and totally comfortable while they’re with me

I’m a teacher who works as a part-time dog sitter, bringing the same patience, positivity, and friendliness I had in the classroom to every pup I care for. I earned my undergraduate degree from the University of Illinois at Chicago and my graduate degree from National Louis University. I’m also a proud dog mom to Benji, my small Shih Tzu–terrier mix, who inspires my gentle, attentive approach to caring for dogs of all kinds.
