Pet care experience

Your animal will think I'm family!

Hello! My name is Sarah Zarlenga. I am an absolute animal person. I couldn't imagine life without a dog or other animal companion by my side. We tend to have an immediate understanding and bond that is indescribable with words alone. That being said, I have 1 canine friend of my own. He's a Papillon/Rat Terrier named Little Guy. I have also cared for over 60 large, hound breed dogs at once on a daily basis for a dog rescue in Texas for over 2 years, and I volunteered and worked for another dog and horse rescue with several breeds including huskies and pit bulls for over 3 years. I also helped care for the rescued horses, cats, & chickens & ducks, so I have experience with their care as well. Furthermore, I helped out at an Aussie breeder for about a year. I have also learned service dog training techniques, and am well versed in basic obedience training from the time I had my first Chocolate Lab puppy at age 7. I would be happy to lend a caring and helping hand to you and your animals when the need arises. I only wish to treat you and your animals as if I were an extended family member to ensure a proper fit for premium care for all involved! Feel free to send me a message if you'd like to get to know me further, and hopefully plan a care visit. Thank you for stopping by to become acquainted! Why I love dog sitting I have loved dogs ever since I can remember. We had a few dogs when I was a small child, but the one we had the longest (from 2 months old till the end of her life at 13 years) was a super sweet & intelligent Chocolate Lab whom we called Angel. Her and I grew up together. I would take her on walks and play with her all of the time. Later on, I lived with my dad and he got us a puppy who grew to become a 125 lb Belgian Shepherd named Buddy, so I would take him for walks and to play at the dog park. Now, I have 1 dog of my own who I consider to be my fuzzy child. I love spending time playing with him in the yard, taking him for walks, and grooming & caring for him. I also give him nutritious treats (like vegetables) which he absolutely loves! He is spoiled with all of my love and affection. All of the amazing experiences with dogs & other animals in my life have inspired me to work closely with them on a daily basis in order to cultivate a healthy and renewed symbiotic relationship between animals and humans that can grow stronger in each new generation. My experience administering medication I am comfortable administering medication in the form of pills. I also have a little experience administering shots.

Sarah is a great sitter. Rex and Cutie have been visiting different sitters, but this is the only time when the came home very happy as if they were not away from home. Sarah kept us updated with multiple pictures and some videos everyday. The update was regular and precise. Her daughter and dog are very friendly and good with other dogs. Thank you Sarah, we are going to definitely going to use your services soon.

Pets

A typical day

I would most like to do whatever your animal enjoys most which will stimulate her or him while you're away, so that they don't hardly notice! The main goal is to have fun together whether it be taking a stroll on a beautiful day, playing with favorite toys, or sharing cuddles & getting belly rubs.

I would like to know anything and everything about your animal companion! Does he/she enjoy belly rubs, walks, snuggles, playing with a certain favorite toy, or just hanging around? Does he/she like special treats like broccoli or carrots to chew on? Or maybe even some peanut butter? I tend to treat my boys with human foods that are healthy for dogs to enjoy as well. I'd also like to know any other personality quirks/traits that you deem necessary to mention or if she/he requires medication to be administered in a treat.
