Pet care experience
Veteran owned and operated
I have lived with most of my life around cats. My Life lead me into going into the Army during my time in the army I found this wonderful stray dog at a gas station. Something in me couldn't walk away from her. I know deep down she needed me as much as I needed her. So, I took her home. That was in 2015 over the course of the next 6 years she became my service dog and healed me in so many ways. Unfortunately, due to her arthritis I had to retire her. She is happily retired on a beautiful ranch. During her transition into retirement, I was blessed with my next service dog Ruby. She fully stepped into her job march of 2022. I do have some experience with training dogs. With the guidance of some really good service dog trainers, I was able to get Cream and Ruby trained. For the last Four years I have been the only one to do Ruby's haircuts, bath and nails. I am not a professional dog hairstylist, but I do know how to use clippers. I also have a little 6-pound cat named Lotus Blossom. Ruby and Blossom get along like loving sisters. I still got more to learn about dogs. I am in the process of learning dog body language. When I was a live in caregiver for three years, I took care of the ladies two elder dogs. I would walk them and give them baths when needed. I don't really like clipping dogs nails I am afraid of cutting to short if the dog has black nails. I also have a sweet little boy that's a leopard gecko. I also know how to take care of freshwater fish. I have owned aquariums in the past. I own three male betta fish. When I was in high school, I used to raise and breed show rabbits. As much as I love little bunnies, I cannot hold them anymore. Something about their fur makes my skin brake out. I also used to have a homemade dog treat business closed down in 2020.

Safety, trust & environment
I listen to animals to the best of my ability. All living things have feelings. I just let my animals be who they want to be as long as they are minding their manners. I use positive and negative reinforcement. I believe in praising the good with pets, loves or treats. While redirecting your fur baby's attention from bad to good behavior, so that I can praise them again. My dog for example, when she starts to do excessive barking, I redirect her attention with toys are commands then I praise her for the good behavior. In a calm but stern voice. I love to play with dogs they can be goof balls. My little girl makes me laugh all the time she's such a little jokester. I respect cats' space if they want cuddles, pets or to play then I let them come to me and ask. I love playing with kitty's it's so much fun. This is a big one for me I make sure the litter box gets cleaned once a day for the health of the cat. I will stick to your feeding schedule. I do my best to live by the Golden rule treat others how I would want to be treated. That includes all living critters. If you have a schedule from them, I will follow it to the best of my ability. One last thing when out on walks I do pick up the mess.
Ratings and reviews
Sarah is responsive and reliable, she took our last minute request to check in on our baby and was on time or early. Would recommend if you need someone dependable.

Great communication!
We highly recommend this sweet young lady and avid cat lover! We felt that our cat was well taken care of in her care while we were away for a few days.

Sarah is a wonderful pet and house sitter. This is about the fifth time we've hired her. She is incredibly conscientious and knows a ton about dogs. I always feel safe trusting her with our house and our baby (dog). We're having her back a few times again this year.

Very reliable and trustworthy. Thank you for all you do!

Sarah is the absolute best and has never let us down even with last minute requests!

Schedule
I will keep my calendar updated. I can do early morning scheduling. I am up most mornings by 0630. Rover has become my fulltime job. Although it doesn't feel like work to me, I enjoy spending my days around any type of animal. My schedule will remain as open as possible throughout the year. I will give heads up when I am taking time off.
