Stay, play, and wag all day! Calm, caring home
Hi, I’m Sarah! I previously worked for Barking Mad until Covid sadly closed the business. During that time, I cared for many wonderful dogs of all breeds, ages, and needs — from playful puppies to elderly diabetic dogs needing a gentler pace. We absolutely loved welcoming dogs into our home and giving them a real ‘home from home’ experience. My son has grown up with dogs all his life and is brilliant with them too. He’s now 11 (going on 18!) and knows how to be calm and gentle with all personalities. We genuinely enjoy having dogs stay and making them feel like part of the family. I may also be able to accommodate other small pets — feel free to get in touch and we can chat about what might work. A few practical bits: I provide basic grooming, enrichment toys, treats, and full-time company — so your dog has everything they need to feel happy and secure. I don’t offer pick-up or drop-off, and I don’t currently accept puppies under 6 months. My pricing reflects the high level of care and attention each guest receives, with optional add-ons for puppies and additional dogs from the same family for day care only. 😊

Met with Sarah, prior to our dog staying, she was very friendly and dogs got on with each other. She kept us up to date on how the dog was.
Sarah had Blaidd for me as me and my husbands shifts clashed. She gave me updates and even settled my anxiety and worry even fed her for me when my husband got home 3 hours late from work resulting in picking up blaidd 3 hours later than planned. Thank you!

I’m home every day, so your dog will have constant company, love, and attention. Whether they prefer long walks, cuddles, or simply a calm companion nearby, I’ll adapt to whatever makes them happiest. Your dog will never be left alone during their stay and will be treated with the same care and affection I give my own

Safety, trust & environment
I have a secure, fenced garden that’s been fully reinforced to 7ft high, just to be sure even the most adventurous jumpers are safe (I own a part-kelpie myself!). I supervise all outdoor time to make sure every guest feels confident and secure. Your dog’s safety is my top priority.

A typical day
We have lovely walks right on our doorstep — large open fields, parks, and nature walks that are livestock-free and safe from traffic. My area is very peaceful and perfect for dogs who love to explore or just stroll at their own pace. Daily exercise, playtime, and lots of affection are always part of our routine.
