I have a fenced-in yard with a high gate and access to different trails and parks in close proximity to my home. I am more than willing to care for pets where they are most comfortable, including at your home and take them for walks to familiar places for them.

Please let me know what your pet's regular routine looks like at home. I want to make the transition as easy for your pets as possible and match their routine at home as much as I can. Please also let me know if your pet has any extra needs or requires specific care due to age, disability or another condition. I am open to caring for pets that need a little bit of extra love but I need to know ahead of time so that I can prepare myself and my home and ask any questions needed.
A typical day
I love to provide lots of enrichment for the pets that I watch! I like to hide treats and food in things like snuffle mats and Kongs for them to hunt. I like to take pets out for long walks and give them a chance to explore different terrain (park, forest, etc). I also love to give lots of cuddles and pets and all the love.

Pet care experience
I have 6 years of pet care experience. I started when I moved up for university and began watching people's pets for extra cash for classes and found that I really enjoyed working with animals (and their owners too!). I've mostly worked with dogs and cats but I'm open to learning and working with other types of animals too!

Sarah is an excellent catsitter. She is responsive and takes excellent care of my high needs cat, including administering medication. My apartment got cleaner during her stay! This is my second time hiring Sarah and I will certainly do so again. Highly recommend!
Sarah is an absolute gem. She looked after my anxious cat for four days with overnight stays, including administering medication twice a day — and she handled everything perfectly. She did a meet and greet beforehand, which immediately put me at ease, and was always responsive when I reached out. Daily photo and text updates were much appreciated. ❤️ My cat normally cries at the door if left alone too long, but I came home to a completely relaxed, settled cat — the best sign possible. The litter box was spotless and her wet and dry feeding schedule was followed. For anyone with a nervous or high-needs cat, Sarah is excellent. I rebooked before I even unpacked.
