Obsessed with dogs, dog groomer, rescuer.
I’m a lifetime dog lover, the kind of person who finds happiness cuddling a dog and they have always been my life. We have recently lost our beautiful 14 year old Springer Spaniel Charlie, so I have plenty of love to give. I rescued and fostered dogs in Cyprus, eventually adopting Jasper, the German shepherd after many health and behavioural problems, he sadly passed away a few years ago, taking a huge chunk of my heart with him. It’s the when they say they don’t give up on the hard dogs they will teach you something you never knew you needed, he taught me patience! We fostered Hugo the German Shorthaired Pointer and rescued Lexie the Cyprus mongrel from the road, finding them the most perfect home. I am a fully qualified dog groomer who owned a very successful business specialising in the dog who needed a little bit more time, love and a calm 1 to 1 environment. I’m looking to house sit and dog walk to get my fix of dogs before we adopt a retired military working dog in a few years.

Sarah is so kind and has a wealth of experience with dogs. She was not put off by my dog having a recent surgery and put me completely at ease to leave him with her. I would not hesitate to book Sarah to look after Winston again and would highly recommend her to anyone.
I’ve known Sarah for a number of years and can’t think of a kinder, more compassionate and responsible person to work for Rover. Dogs are her biggest passion and she places their well-being and comfort above all else. She’s got such a kind, loving nature with dogs and other animals, having even rescued a dog from Cyprus and provided him with a stable, loving home for many years and helped him to recover physically and emotionally. She used to run her own dog grooming business of which my own dog regularly enjoyed a pamper and a groom (and a personalised bow and treats!). Sarah brings expertise and genuine passion to every interaction and caters for dog’s individualised needs carefully and calmly. She is incredibly patient and understanding of dogs who are reactive and have high needs and ensures they receive the same level of love and attention, as they deserve. She has also looked after our Siamese cat multiple times, providing warm and loving company and high-quality care. I’ve witnessed Sarah helping lost dogs, ensuring they reach home safely - nothing else matters when an animal is in need. On top of that, Sarah is an incredibly friendly and approachable person who is always happy to help and go above and beyond for people. I cannot recommend her enough and any dog/cat/other animal would be in incredibly safe hands with Sarah and would undoubtedly be treated exceptionally well - so much so, that they probably wouldn’t want her to leave!
Excellent. You couldn't ask for better. Extremely well qualified. Puts you and your pets needs first. Very accommodating even for those who need that extra time care and attention.
We have known Sarah for many years now and would highly recommend her, to anyone. Sarah started grooming our dog when Storm was just a pup and it was love at first sight! Storm has a tendency to be reactive with strangers but Sarah just has a way with dogs that just settled and calmed her immediately. Sarah is the very definition of a 'dog person' and I can't recommend her enough, I would 100% trust her to look after one of the most important members of our family 🐶
Sarah is absolutely amazing with dogs!! She has had her own dogs and done a fantastic job with them, and I completely trust her in looking after my dog. I don’t think there is a single dog Sarah doesn’t love and get on with. Highly recommended.

Schedule
I work part time so I have plenty of time to look after your pets, I can house sit on weekends and can also do long weekends.

I have years of experience with dogs of all sizes, I have knowledge of dog first aid and having a springer I’ve used it a lot! I’m confident with larger breeds.
A typical day
I have plenty of puzzles and alot of enrichment ideas both out on walks and in the home. I have previously done both flyball and agility so more than happy to use them skills.
