Information Sarah W. would like to know about your pet

Please let me know if your dog has any dietary deficiencies or needs, as well as any behaviours I should be aware of e.g. doesnt like hard flooring, triggered by cats, territorial etc. My preference for dogs is medium/small, just because of the size of my flat (its spread across three floors though!).

A typical day

I typically work from home so if i have your dog for a full day or over a weekend, we’ll start by a quick walk around the block to get in all the new smells and longer toilet break in. Merging with your normal routine, i may give your dog breakfast (after waiting a short while) a lick mat or some time to chill out in the garden with some toys available. Before lunch, we’ll head off on our long walk - depending on the dog 45-1h30 mins. We'll explore clapham common or wandsworth common, and your dog can check out new or potentially familiar routes they’re used to. The afternoon usually consists of lots of toilet breaks, potentially some chew sticks, cuddles on the sofa and making sure your dog is as comfortable as possible. In the evening we may do another walk (round the block or longer depending on your dogs needs), and perhaps relax in the park or head to a coffee shop. I can guarantee your dog will feel stimulated physically and mentally, with lots of games and lick matts.

Pet care experience

Hi I’m Sarah, I’ve been an animal lover my whole life and currently have no pets, so am more than happy to look after yours! I am a Marine Evidence Manager and with a Marine Biology and Zoology Masters. I work from home on most days with a lot of flexibility and am happy to care for your pet with walks and play time as well as happy to relax on the sofa and enjoy cuddles. Whilst living in bucks I've looked after a retriever regularly for walks, weekends, and over night stays. And before him, 9 months regularly looking after a cockerpoo based in Abbeville Village. Ive had years worth of experience looking after different dogs and am regularly relied on by friends and family who need extra help. I've previously looked after labradors, miniature dachshunds, cocker spaniels, bichon frise, retrievers, terriers, cockapoos the lot! I also cat sit for my neighbours 3 cats all the time and absolutely love them!

We are so pleased to have found Sarah. She has been very easy to deal with, responding quickly to my messages. And most importantly, our 18 month old Cockapoo loved spending time with her. Thanks so much Sarah!

Sarah has been easy to connect with and, most importantly, she has been great with our small Cockapoo. Thanks so much. 😊

Sarah visited my house daily to look after my cat Teddy whilst i was away on holiday. She was easy to communicate with and attentive to my instructions. My cat was super happy with her company and healthy when I came home! I was very pleased and would recommend Sarah to anyone, she is clearly an animal lover !
