I do work 40 hours a week at a coffee shop in Waterbury, VT. If local, I can adjust my schedule as needed but will need a couple days where I will be gone about 8 hours or so. Love going for long walks in the morning and afternoon.

I typical stay close to the home I am pet sitting in but enjoy taking dogs to the beach or other hiking spots. Love to know how they do for car rides.
A typical day
Up when the dog prefers, quick bathroom break then breakfast, longer walk after breakfast. Depending on if I am working that day (for stays close to home) we will either part calmly for the time I am away or we will get ready to enjoy the day based on the dogs preferences. either a long walk, hike or swim. Then a nice nap and then activities in the afternoon again based on the activity level of the pet. I also enjoy a very calm quiet evening after dinner but will take a walk depending on the pets preference before dark.

As a former medical coordinator in mental health, busy coffee shop manager, mother to two adult boys and companion of a 14 year old dog, I can promise you your pet and home will be in loving hands. I have taken care of multiple friends pets over the years including one dog that was blind and another who had diabetes. You can be assured your pet will be taken care of with love and patience. My pup will stay home with his older brother while I pet sit.

Sarah was the best fit for my dogs Copper and Izzy when I lived in the area. She was meticulous to their schedule like feeding regimen, medication schedule and walking preferences. She was very communicative and would send me pictures of them enjoying themselves relaxing, playing or socializing with her pup Chip. Copper was an older guy and grumpy at times, but Sarah made sure that he still moved around and was well cared for. They were always happy during pick up and that is the best review I could ask for from my pups. I wish I lived closer now (I moved out of state) so she could watch my new pup, Sienna when I'm away.
