As a freelance violinist, my week day schedule is usually very open and flexible. I typically work away from home evenings and weekends but am often home during the day in the week, so I'd be a perfect fit to check on your pet during the day if you work a typical 9-5 job. Occasionally I have morning or afternoon rehearsals which I try to note in my Rover calendar availability.

If you would like to inquire regarding doggy daycare or boarding, please reach out and we can see if it's a good fit. I have a kid-free home with a small patio, and live nearby a couple parks for walks. I want to be sure that your dog will get a long well with my dachshund Stormy (who is a bit adverse to high energy), so I require at least one meet and greet with my own dog prior to sitting for you.

Information Sarah W. would like to know about your pet
I generally like to know how old your dog is, their breed, and what kind of training they have received in their life time to date. If I have to visit your house alone, please let me know if your dog has free reign of the house or if they spend time in a kennel.

There are so many wonderful trails in Westminster, and I love exploring and finding new places to take dogs on walks. In my personal neighborhood I really enjoy taking dogs for walks along the Big Dry Creek trail and open space. If your dog enjoys dog parks, I am more than happy to take them and get some energy out by throwing balls or letting them play with other dogs.

Pet care experience
I absolutely love all animals, and especially dogs. I adopted my senior dachshund (Stormageddon) from Dumb Friends League 3 years ago, and he follows me around everywhere; he is my bud. I grew up with my mother teaching me how to ride horses, and when I was around 10 years old I trained one of our dogs (a keeshound) how to jump over homemade hurdles. More recently (just a couple years ago) I worked with a friend's dog about once a week training him in dog agility. He is a border-doodle that has a lot of energy, and I was happy to help him spend some of it. A couple years ago I also served as a volunteer dog walker at the Dumb Friends League (Quebec location). While there, I took many dog behavior training classes, including behavior theory and positive clicker training classes. I gained experience with both energetic dogs and very shy dogs. I learned so much while I was there, and was sad to have to stop volunteering due to lengthening commute times from Arvada. I'm really looking forward to working with your dog via Rover!
Reviews

We had such a great experience with Sarah! Right away, our dog warmed up to her, and we felt comfortable leaving for the weekend. Sarah was very responsive, sent us tons of pictures and videos, and took our dog on all kinds of adventures. The next time we are in need of someone to watch our dog, we hope Sarah is free so we can work with her again! Thank you!!

Sarah took such good care of our pup Lucy with long walks, play dates and cuddles. Lucy can be a little anxious and it gives us great comfort knowing she’s in a calm environment. Sarah is also a great communicator - she’s responsive and I appreciate that she shares updates.

Sarah was great! Very attentive and caring. We fully trusted her with our fur babies.

Sarah was so wonderful! She was quick to respond and very flexible on timing, sent pictures and updates at least once every day, and clearly took wonderful care of Pig while we were out of town. This was my first time leaving him over a holiday, but I had no worries at all that he was loved and cared for!! We will definitely be using Sarah again during future trips.
