I work full-time Monday through Thursday on second shift, but I’m available for quick drop-ins before and after work (yes, even after 1am—for those late-night litter scoopings or fish feedings!). Fridays through Sundays, I’m wide open and fully available for your pet’s lounging, snacking, and playing needs. Whether it’s a moody cat, a chill lizard, small rodent or an aquarium that needs some TLC, I’m happy to work them into my routine—they make life better!

Safety, trust & environment

I don’t care for pets in my own home, but I’m happy to pick up your pet and take them on safe walking adventures to nearby parks! I always prioritize your pet’s comfort, safety, and routine—whether it’s a quick drop-in or a longer visit. I’m not a professional, but I truly care and I’m always willing to learn. I follow your instructions closely (meds, feeding, tank care, litter box scooping—whatever you need) and treat every pet like they’re part of the family. I also keep you in the loop with updates and photos, so you always know your pet is happy and safe.

Information Sarah W. would like to know about your pet

I love all kinds of pets—especially the quirky ones! That said, it’s super helpful to know ahead of time if your pet has any special needs, allergies, food sensitivities, or medical issues. Are they allowed treats? Do they have favorite commands, routines, or hiding spots? Are they an expert escape artist or part-time drama queen? How do they do on walks? The more I know, the better I can keep them safe, happy, and totally in their element.

A typical day

House Sitting rate includes: - A minimum of three walks a day, usually more. I love going on walks, especially in new areas! - I stay in the home consistently and can provide constant care if needed. I do not leave the home without discussing with the homeowner first and I will not leave without homeowners confirmation. I do walks and potty breaks before any departure. (Unless otherwise specified) - Minor house duties (watering plants, taking out trash, sweeping/mopping before departure, etc.) -Consistent communication (including lots of pictures!) *I am also willing to do any extra chores you may need! We can discuss any added fees for extra work.* Walking: - Walks average around 1/2 to 1 mile per 30 minutes/1 to 2 miles per hour - I am overly cautious of other animals and people! - Lots of cuddles and loves prior to and after walking! My visits tend to be around 35-40 minutes, unless specified otherwise. -I check food and water before I leave for the day as well as ensuring that everything is locked, secured and safe. ~WINTER WEATHER WALKING~ - no extended walking during extreme cold warnings/drastic negative temps. - walks will be substituted with an outside potty/fresh air break and play time for your scheduled slot. Anything you need? I got you! We’ll go on scenic walks, discuss neighborhood drama (they always know the tea), chase toys like our lives depend on it, and end with world-class cuddle sessions. I match your pet’s vibe—whether they’re an energetic goofball or a professional napper. I’m here for the zoomies and the snuggles.

Pet care experience

I’ve had animals in my life since I was a kid—dogs, cats, fish, even a few oddballs—and I’ve loved them all. I’m not a professional trainer, but I’m someone who truly enjoys spending time with animals and learning their personalities. I walk a lot and would love some furry (or feathery, or scaly!) friends to join me on my adventures. I’ve been walking my friends’ dogs for years just for fun, and figured—why not turn it into a side gig? I’m just getting started, but I’m excited to build a profile and a positive reputation in the community as someone pets (and their people!) can count on. I have my own aquarium and know a ton about fish tank care, so I’m great with aquatic pets too. The quirkier the animal, the more I’m into it! Whether your pet is a couch potato or a weirdo with a routine, I’ll meet them where they are. I’m also LGBTQ+ friendly and welcome all kinds of people and pets—kindness and respect are a big deal to me, on both ends of the leash.

Sarah did a phenomenal job checking on our cats. While we were on vacation our home experienced severe weather (totally unexpected) and lost power. Normally, I would have been an anxious mess. But, Sarah was great and her updates made me feel comfortable......so we enjoyed our family vacation! Thank you Sarah!

Sarah was simply fantastic. Our two dogs absolutely enjoyed their stay with her and we felt total peace of mind knowing that Sarah was taking such good care of them. We wouldn’t hesitate to book with Sarah again.
