Safety, trust & environment

As someone who has run several half marathons and loves the outdoors, we will make sure your pets are not only getting the exercise they need, but the love and attention they deserve. -If your pet loves speed, no problem! We can run together safely. -If your pet enjoys a more leisurely walk with frequent breaks, no problem! We can stroll through your neighborhood and take in the sights. -Playtime? No problem! We'll find a safe field to play fetch, or we can stay in the comfort of your backyard.

Schedule

I have been walking dogs and caring for pet friends on Rover since 2020 in both Columbus, Ohio and around the Green Bay metro area. My family and I moved to De Pere, WI two years ago, and I love being able to provide that same level of care to the adorable pets of my new neighborhood! My son Kiernan and my daughter June are both 14-years old, and one of them will likely join me for walks and other bookings (if you're comfortable with that, of course!): They both have a true heart for animals, and a passion for dogs specifically. Kiernan’s dream is to become a veterinarian, and I want to do everything I can to help him gain some valuable pet care experience as he works towards this goal. We are hoping to combine forces as a mother-son/daughter team so you and your pet get two of us for the price of one. Though rest assured that I will attend all bookings, and will never send either of them on their own :) .

I grew up with German Shepherds, but both Kiernan and I have owned and cared for Australian Shepherds, Huskies, Pit Bulls, Labradors, Beagles, Boston Terriers, Coonhounds, German Shepherds, Pomeranians, Pugs, Chihuahuas, rabbits, parakeets, cats and kittens, and many other animals of all shapes, sizes, and breeds. Some of the biggest dogs are the sweetest pets, so we do not make assumptions about breed or size. Kiernan and I just want to get to know your dog better to provide the best possible experience for him/her. Here are some things we might need to know ahead of time to help us provide the best possible experience for your pet: -Is your dog friendly with other dogs, or should we be aware of anxiety when crossing paths with another dog during our walks? -What training methods do you use and prefer? -Should we focus on helping your dog walk better on a leash, or should we focus on helping your dog get some pent-up energy out? -Do you have treats that your dog enjoys on walks to reinforce good behavior? -Would you like us to play with your dog? Fetch, tug-of-war, etc.? -Will your dog need to be gently eased back into a crate after our walks? -Should we prepare a peanut-butter filled chew-toy or other treat dispensing toy to keep them busy until you return home?
Each sitter joining Rover needs to pass a background check. And by booking on Rover, you can get photo & message updates, 24/7 support, and reimbursement for eligible vet care.
