Safety, trust & environment
Safety is paramount :) When I walk dogs and cats, I double-wrap the leash around my wrist to keep a safe grip. I am careful to keep awareness of the pets' whereabouts at all times.

Sarah did such a great job with my dog and 2 cats. She was very friendly, provided great updates, and the animals all seemed to love her! She always communicated very well and the whole process went so smoothly, I can't recommend her enough!
Sarah took care of my cats a little while ago and she was great! I booked her a little bit last minute but she said that was no problem and took lots of cute pictures. The cats got along great with her. I'd definitely book her again.
My house was in good hands with Sarah. She diligently looked after my pets who were all very comfortable with her -- even my dog, who usually takes a bit to warm up. Sarah kept in touch and when I came home my house was all in order. She is kind, thoughtful and trustworthy!
Sarah accommodated a last minute request to take care of my cat, Cora, who I had just adopted, as my partner and I had to leave for the weekend. In addition to ensuring Cora had her basic needs met (water, food, treats, etc.), she played with Cora and helped my cat get accustomed to her new home. For instance, Sarah used Cora's favorite toy to have her develop positive feelings towards the bed/box that we bought her. Now Cora loves her box!
Sarah was a godsend for me and my dog. I'd only ever left my pets with friends but for this extended trip I none of my friends were available and suggested I look at Rover. Sarah hadn't had many review yet so I was nervous but her peace and gentleness has transformed my dog. Our upstairs neighbors have multiple children who recently came of "running around the house" age, causing a lot of new noises that were giving our dog bought of pretty severe anxiety. His stressful associations with the house were getting so bad, some days he didn't even want to come back inside it was so sad :( But coming back home my dog is completely transformed. I think a great part of it is Sarah's ability to stay home 24/7 allowed our little man to get the social support he needed in order to learn the sounds coming from upstairs weren't dangerous. Now we have no problems and I feel so happy discovering a community like Rover where I can find such available and dedicated pet sitters. Thank you Sarah!

Schedule
I'm currently working remotely with a flexible schedule, so I am available to care for pets on basically any type of schedule. I am happy to work around your routine. Frequent sessions to play with or care for pets are fine! I'm living in 100 Mile House right now, but I'm looking to spend some time away in the upcoming season. I would come to you by long-distance bus, so I'm not able to do an in-person meet-and-greet. I'm happy to do a detailed call ahead of time to explore a possible fit.
