Safety, trust & environment

I keep a close eye on all dogs in my care and make sure they’re always in a safe, comfortable environment. At my home, dogs are supervised and have access to our fenced yard for outside time, along with plenty of indoor space to relax. I’m mindful about introductions and making sure everyone feels comfortable, especially with my dog and toddler around. I pay attention to behavior and body language so I can step in if needed. I follow whatever routine your dog is used to, including feeding, potty breaks, crate use, and any specific instructions. My goal is for your dog to feel safe, relaxed, and at home while they’re here.

Information Sarah T. would like to know about your pet

Before booking, I like to know your dog’s temperament, routine, and any specific needs. Things like how they do with other dogs and kids, energy level, feeding schedule, and if they have any separation anxiety or health concerns. It’s also helpful to know if they’re crate trained, potty trained, or have any habits I should be aware of. The more I know ahead of time, the better I can make sure your dog feels comfortable and cared for while they’re here.

A typical day

Our days are pretty relaxed and centered at home. Mornings start with potty breaks and breakfast, then we spend a lot of time going in and out of the yard. Some dogs like to play and stay active, and others just want to lay in the sun or hang out nearby. There’s a good mix of playtime and downtime throughout the day depending on your dog’s personality. In the evenings we wind down with dinner, a few more potty breaks, and usually some couch time watching a show.

Pet care experience

I grew up with dogs and have cared for them my whole life. My first best friend was a black lab named Daisy. Now I’m a stay-at-home mom to an active 3-year-old boy and a dog mom to my 12-year-old border collie mix, Mocha. I'm home most days, and if I leave it’s usually just for a couple hours. So, your dog will get lots of attention, supervision, and potty breaks! You’ll usually find us outside in our fenced yard or cuddled up on the couch reading books or watching movies. If your dog loves sunbathing, playing fetch, or just being close to people, they’ll fit right in with us. I have experience with active puppies, dogs with separation anxiety, and senior dogs who need a little extra care. I’m happy to follow your dog’s normal routine like feeding, walks, crate training, or anything specific so they feel comfortable and safe while you’re away.

Sarah was fantastic with my dog, Junie! She took such great care of her, kept me updated with photos and messages, and gave me complete peace of mind while I was away. Junie came home happy, relaxed, and clearly well loved. I wouldn’t hesitate to leave Junie with Sarah again and highly recommend her to anyone looking for a caring, reliable dog sitter.

Sarah is one of the most dependable and caring people I know, and has always had a natural love for animals. She always puts a lot of special care into her dogs and loves spoiling them with attention. Sarah is always attentive when caring for pets.

Sarah is absolutely a loving and responsible pet caregiver. She has years of experience working with Dogs and horses. Here knowledge of the behavior of animals is much higher than most and her patients when working with animals is hard to find. I would absolutely recommend her to help take care of your animals

Sarah is an absolutely wonderful pet caregiver! We have had amazing care by her for two of our animals and she gave excellent love and care to each! My current dog Shadow was watched by her for almost 2 weeks at Christmas! He received so much love and affection! Sarah massages your dog and rubs their belly! Shadow adores Sarah and so do I! Her dog Mocha is a great companion too! She is calm and friendly! Sarah has a beautiful home and yard! Book with Sarah! You and your pet will be happy you did!
