Hello! My name is Sarah, but I go by Sam. Thank you so much for your consideration! Ever since I was a child, I’ve always loved having pets. There was hardly a time when I didn’t have some kind of companion in my life. Growing up, I had a variety of different pets, but most of my experience is with dogs, cats, birds, and rodents! However, I love all kinds of creatures (I’ve even had tarantulas)! These days, my boyfriend and I share an Aussie named Newman that we love to spoil. I currently work Wednesdays and Thursdays bathing dogs, and I’m a former doggy daycare attendant and dog groomer, so I have plenty of experience handling pets of varying energy levels and temperaments. I also have some experience with pets that have special needs.

I’m very understanding and adaptable to whatever schedule you’ve got set for your pets, so that they still have the sense of security that comes from having a routine! During house sittings, I ALWAYS offer overnight care to ensure your pets have someone to spend time with them around the clock. I always keep a close eye when at home with pets to ensure nothing goes awry, and I always make sure they are safely secured if they need to be left alone for a period of time. Water is always made available unless otherwise specified. I love to spoil pets with treats when I can but I’m very good at following instructions if they have a strict diet, physical limitations, medications, etc.

Sarah is great! She gave my pup a bath and did some of my dishes. She also communicates well :)
Sam did a wonderful job taking care of our two dogs! Check ins were consistent and communicative. I would book again!
Sarah did an amazing job with my kitties! They are super shy and she managed to get them to get them to come out and feel safe. Will definitely book again!
Once again an excellent experience with Sam! A much shorter time away this time, but Tiffany was happy and calm when we got home.

We rebooked Sam to watch our senior frenchie Tiffany while we went out of town for a week. Sam was amazing! They reached out with any questions and sent lots of updates and pictures. We just got home and Tiffany is chill as a cucumber, no stress at all. Sam was wonderful giving Tiffany her meds (there are so many) on schedule and without any issue. We were able to relax and enjoy our trip because Sam was here taking the best care of our Tiffany. Sam is also very friendly and chats with us in the app and in person so this whole situation is even more comfortable because we have a super cool person dog sitting, someone we would want to hang out with and who is competent, funny, and so caring. I cannot recommend Sam enough!

Dates de la garde
This is my main source of income, but I do work part time (Wednesdays and Thursdays) as a dog bather, so please keep in mind that I will be gone for a period of time (7am-4pm) on those days. Otherwise, on my days off, I am watching your babies FULL TIME! It’s something I enjoy doing, and I’ve found that I get the most joy out of spending time taking care of client’s pets. Some day I do hope to go to school for something animal behavior or social service related, but I’m still trying to figure that out!
