My goal is to make your dog's time with me feel as much like home as possible. I follow each pet parent's normal routine for feeding, sleeping, crating, exercise, and household rules whenever possible. Dogs are welcome to sleep wherever they're accustomed to at home—as long as their behavior allows—and I’m happy to reinforce the routines and expectations you've already established. In Murfreesboro, dogs stay in a home with two resident Boxers and a senior cat, who spends most of his time comfortably separated in his own space. The home sits on a fully fenced 10,000 sq. ft. lot with plenty of room for outdoor play. Dogs are never left outside unattended; outdoor and group play is actively supervised. I intentionally keep my groups manageable so I can closely supervise interactions, get to know each dog's personality, and give everyone plenty of individual attention. Safety is a priority when managing a multi-dog household, so all pets are fed separately to help prevent resource guarding. I also use gates, crates, and separate living spaces as needed for meals, rest, decompression, or simply when dogs need a break from one another. The Murfreesboro home allows me to maintain multiple separate groups when personalities, energy levels, or individual needs call for it. I require a meet & greet before accepting new dogs. This gives me a chance to learn your dog's personality, observe their comfort level and interactions, assess compatibility with the resident dogs, and make sure my environment is genuinely a good fit for their needs—not simply that everyone can tolerate one another. In Murfreesboro, initial introductions take place outside in the backyard before moving into the home. In Huntsville, dogs first meet in neutral territory at the apartment's dog park before sharing the indoor space. My Huntsville setup is smaller, so I'm more selective about which dogs are a good fit for that environment. Dogs still receive close supervision, and I have the ability to safely separate the resident dog and visiting dogs when anyone needs their own space. Whether your pet is staying with me or I'm caring for them in your home, I follow the routine and household rules you provide rather than expecting them to adapt to an entirely new set of expectations. You'll also receive regular personalized updates, photos, and videos so you can see how they're doing while you're away. For everyone's safety, I don't accept pets with known aggression or intact dogs over 12 months old. Please disclose any history of separation anxiety, destructive behavior, escape attempts, resource guarding, or other behavioral concerns before booking. These behaviors don't necessarily mean your dog isn't a good fit—I simply need to know about them in advance so I can determine whether I can safely and comfortably meet their needs.

There really isn't a one-size-fits-all day here! I tailor each dog's day to their personality, energy level, age, and what they're accustomed to at home. Some dogs want to spend the day playing until they're exhausted, while others are happiest curled up nearby getting plenty of love—and both are perfectly welcome. In Murfreesboro, dogs have plenty of toys and a large, fully fenced yard for supervised outdoor play, zoomies, sniffing, and lounging when the weather cooperates. For dogs who enjoy walks and exploring, I also live near a creekside walking trail that's perfect for getting out of the house and taking in some new smells. Throughout the day, I balance activity with plenty of opportunities to rest and decompress. Playtime, outdoor breaks, walks, enrichment, cuddles, and quiet time are all worked around what your dog enjoys most.
