Hi! My name is Sarah and I am a full-time playwright/screenwriter. Since I work from home, you dog(s) will have plenty of company! I've owned dogs my entire life (a Rottweiler named "Ica," a Golden Retriever named "Shana," and a Great Pyrenees named "Bear"), and feel comfortable and confident with all breeds and ages. I am able to administer medication, and have worked with pets who experience high-levels of anxiety. Last year I moved out of the city and bought my first house in the Pocono Mountains. Although I often commute to New York, I am only able to watch pets in an owner's home at this time. I am happy to provide references upon request. Overall: I am a responsible, reliable person, one who will care for, play with, and pay attention to your pet as though s/he is my own. Please feel free to ask me anything!

It’s our third house sit with Sarah and she provided excellent care for our dogs again. We have 2 senior dogs with various needs and Sarah confidently and compassionately provides care for them. Sarah’s communications during the stay are excellent and our boys are well cared for and super happy when we arrive home. We love Sarah!
This was Sarah’s second stay with our dogs and it was another excellent experience. Her communication continued to be excellent as she provided check ins and photos of the dogs while we were away. House was neat and tidy upon our arrival. Dogs were happy and loved their stay with Sarah!
Sarah was excellent taking care of our dogs Rex and Bronty. She stayed in our home and when we returned the house was spotless, which we truly appreciated. We experienced an extreme winter storm during our trip that caused multiple flight cancellations, and Sarah was more than accommodating with our extended return and a true all-star in a heavy snowfall. That flexibility and understanding made a stressful situation so much easier. Leaving our 15 year old senior dog is always scary, but Sarah did a wonderful job caring for Rex and making sure his needs were met all while keeping our higher energy dog Bronty calm and comfortable. Her communication was excellent throughout the stay, and she was never hesitant to reach out with questions or updates. We felt confident and at ease knowing our dogs and home were in such great hands. We would recommend Sarah for dog sitting wholeheartedly to anyone. We will definitely be using her services in the future and are so happy to have found her. Thank you Sarah!
I have never left our dogs with anyone who was not a family member. Sarah went out of her way to visit us a few days before she was to dog sit for 10 days. Our Berner-doodle Bailey is very high anxiety and she was so comfortable with Sarah by the time she left after the first visit. Sarah sent us videos and updated us everyday. Bailey and Rory were so relaxed and acting as if Sarah was part of the family and they knew her forever. If you ever need a pet sitter Sarah is exceptional and will be my first choice for our next family trip!
Sarah was so loving of my GSP. It took very little time for there to be an emotional connection between her and my puppy. Absolutely awesome!

Schedule
I work from home, and am flexible to work around whatever routine is best for your pet! If they need a lot of attention, or very little, I'm there to make sure their life goes on normally while you're out of town. I also provide photos and daily check-ins if needed :)
