I work from home part time, so I'm available on weekdays and can easily fit it around my current schedule. My pets get to enjoy a lot of time with myself, so it would be nice to share some of that time with other cats that may be a little lonely in the day. I'm relatively new to Holmfirth, so it will also be a great opportunity for me to get to know the area a little better and maybe make some friends along the way.

Please be assured your cats will get all the attention they are comfortable with. I will never force my affection on shy or timid cats and will allow them to take the lead should they want to interact with me. My cat can be a bit of a terror at the drop of a hat, so I can deal with grumpy and feisty cats too! I have many scars to prove it! But even if your cat does choose to keep themselves at a distance and enjoys their alone time, it's nice to know they have someone there for a bit of fuss before you get home. I'm more than happy to send photos / videos to put your mind at rest that they are being well cared for. My boy is an indoor cat, so I'm very vigilant when it comes to making sure there are no escape routes and that they remain inside safe and sound.

Hi, I'm Sarah and I've had cats my whole life, ever since I was born, 11 of them to be exact! I live in Brockholes with my partner, Matthew, and his 6yo son every other weekend. We share a 12yo kitten, Mickey, who has a massive list of nicknames, but we mostly refer to him as MP, Mickle Pickle or kitten. We also have a 5yo Australian Shepherd called Brego (my partner is a huge LOTR fan) who we mostly call pup. Both of them are equal parts daft, needy and infuriating with a habit of being under feet at completely the wrong moments, but we love them dearly and wouldn't be without them. I'm the massive cat lover of the family, and as I work part time at home on a very flexible schedule, I have time to make new fur friends. I'm relatively new to the Holmfirth area, so it is also a way for me to explore around and get to know it a little better, and what better way than by looking after cats and making some friends along the way!

I would highly recommend Sarah as a pet caregiver. She has always been wonderful with both my pets and her own. Sarah is reliable, responsible, attentive, honest, and a true animal lover. Any pet in her care will be treated just like her own, and I'd always feel completely comfortable leaving my pets with her, knowing they’ll get all the love, care, and attention they need.
