My name is Sarah. I have been pet sitting and dog walking for over the last 6 years. I have a degree from OSU in animal science. I’m not sure on my steps for education I’m still working that out.I have worked with a variety of animals.I enjoy being with and taking care of animals. I have done a variety of petsitting and dog walking over the years. One of my clients i had to watch/walk 2 dogs, 3 cats, 6 guineapigs and a number of chickens. It was fun and loved it. I have done a lot of jobs and they have all been fun and rewarding. That is why I chose to do this on the side. It also helps having a more experience with a variety of animals for career goals. I have volunteered at the animal shelters in Corvallis and Hillsboro Oregon. from cleaning cages and walking dogs to restraining animals and giving vaccinations. I am currently working the the Oregon National Primate Research Center taking care of the research monkeys and having fun doing it. I have many references from lovely pet owners. Why I love dog sitting I have been petsitting/dog walking for over 6 years. I got started because I needed some kind of income because of a job loss. Since then i have been doing it off and on since then. I have also had pets growing up and beyond and love being around them. they just make me happy and I know they are happy being around me.
