Safety, trust & environment
When I’m out on dog walks, I really value your dog’s safety. I always carry pepper spray to make sure I can protect your dog if an aggressive dog charges during our walk. I also use body block techniques to keep your dog safe when off-leash dogs are around. I usually steer clear of other dogs on walks unless you specifically let me know that it’s okay for your dog to greet and interact with them. I prefer to be safe rather than risk your furry friend getting hurt. For cats, I’ll make sure they stay indoors unless you have a catio. If I do take cats to a catio, I’ll always supervise and play with them for a bit before leaving them to nap happily.

Trusting anyone with your pet can be hard — who takes better care of your fur babies than yourself, right?! Welp, I think the answer is Sarah. I actually think my pets like her more than they like me, and I wish I was joking! She’s watched my three cats and 140 lb. Great Pyrenees, Miss Martha (a fine lady with a sometimes complicated and cautious temperament who LOVES Sarah) multiple times and I always feel extremely confident leaving them in her care. She goes above and beyond to make sure their needs are met and is extremely communicative with updates on how they’re doing. Sarah is extremely punctual, trustworthy, and a true animal lover. Sarah gave us such peace of mind while we were out of the country for my sister’s wedding! She stayed with our animals (one dog and one cat) for a week while we were gone, and honestly, we’re not sure what we would’ve done without her. Sarah is a close friend we’ve known for years, but I know she is such an animal lover that she would treat anyone’s pets like they were her own, regardless of the relationship. She is trustworthy, kind, organized, and experienced. She has had many dogs and cats of her own and is really in tune with their needs, personalities, and routines. We couldn’t recommend her more!

Schedule
My current schedule is fairly flexible for drop-in services or dog walks. I work part-time as a server and would love to spend the rest of the week with some furry friends. For dog sitting, I will need a week in advance to clear up any schedule conflicts, otherwise I may need to pop in and out throughout the day.

- Please let me know if your pet has any allergies or medications they need to take. Also, if they have any mobility issues. For dogs, I’d love to know if they’ve learned any tricks already, so I can incorporate them into walks to keep their minds active. Also, if they’re reactive to other dogs, squirrels, or anything else, that would help me get ready for walks and visits. For cats, knowing their favorite hiding spots would be great, especially if I can’t find them. Also, if there’s any furniture they absolutely can’t touch, that information would be helpful too.
