I love meeting new pups and helping them live their best life! Safety is first and I will communicate with you to make sure your dog enjoys their walk and has all their physical or medical needs accounted for. Having two of my own dogs I know how important it is to have peace of mind! My background in addition to pet care and sitting has also involved working with herding dogs on ranches as well as many years of horse, goat, and chicken care! Animals have always been a part of my life and I look forward to using my experience to help you and your animals. SAFETY, COMFORT, and FUN are my highest priorities!

Safety, trust & environment
Safety is the priority. Before any walks I will check with you about any safety concerns such as whether your dog has behavioral issues, escapes out the door or out of their collar, or any joint pain or physical limitations they may have. I will tend to stick to routes they are familiar with as this is usually the safest route.

Sarah is my go-to puppy pal! She is caring and attentive but most importantly patient. My dog is a rescue and needs a little extra TLC (and trust) to get going and Sarah has become part of the pack! My highest endorsement.
Sarah worked with my rescue dog, Phantom. She was a VERY difficult rescue, in that she'd never had a family and was petrified of everything (me included). In addition, she was depressed after losing a litter of puppies. Sarah worked w/ Phantom and myself so that I could help Phantom feel safe, know triggers that caused anxiety, and how to properly socialize her. Within the first two weeks of working w/ Sarah, I saw a marked difference in Phantom's confidence levels, her interest in bonding with me, and my ability to be the "alpha" so that Phantom felt safe (and wasn't running the show and me crazy). Sarah is kind, thoughtful, patient, very wise, confident in her knowledge and communicates it in digestible/doable pieces, and clearly someone who loves creatures and will cherish your pet as much as you do.
I can’t say enough about Sarah’s skillful care for our dogs. She helped care for our dogs, and other pets, while we were on vacation and also trained Maya, our lab-husky mix, to follow basic commands. She did this training with kindness but firmness so that our dog developed confidence in herself. I would trust Sarah without a doubt to stay in our home or have the keys to our doors. She is honest, hardworking and calm.

Schedule
I work as a full time artist and walk dogs part time. Typically Sunday through Wednesday are my available days! I’m happy to accommodate your schedule as much as possible.
