I work from home during the week so I’m typically available to take dogs all day long. On the weekends we are usually home or sometimes head up to our parents lake home and have brought dogs with to play up north.

We have a fenced in yard with lots of room to run and play. Our home is dog friendly and they have freedom to play on the main level or if they need to be crated for a nap or separated into other rooms while feeding, I can accommodate that. I have also done extended care for 2 dogs while their Mom recovered from a surgery, they were with us for two months.

Please let me know if your dog is food motivated or food aggressive so that I can make sure to separate during meal times. Also let me know where your dog sleeps in bed with you, in a kennel, on the floor in a bed. That way I can make sure your dog feels right at home!
A typical day
I have lots of toys in the fenced in backyard for dogs to play with as well as toys for inside. Some of the dogs (including my own bernedoodle) love to play on the trampoline outside. Sometimes we get to go for car rides to pick up the kids from school or drop them off. In the warm summer month, I have a plastic pool that I have set up for the dogs to play in. Often the dogs just play chase and tag in the yard. I have had some dogs that like to play fetch and so I will throw the ball for them over and over and over again. My kids also love playing tag and fetch with the dogs.

I have had dogs my whole life. One of my oldest memories was getting a Lhasa puppy as gift for my moms birthday! I purchased my first dog in college to be my companion while I was a way from home. I am a total dog lover! Our whole family has dogs and they often turn to me to watch them when they go out of town. My husband and had some trouble finding sitters for our dog as we didn’t want to use traditional boarding. Our late dog, Wheeler that had separation anxiety so I felt that we could may be help out other families that are in need a loving family to take care of their dog when they are not able. I understand that some dogs have special needs or just need extra snuggles while their family is gone. We have 2 children that also love dogs. I work from home so I am able to give care all day long. We have a fenced in yard, a trampoline that our big dog Alice loves to teach other dogs to jump on, we have lots of toys and a dog friendly home where they can make themselves at home! Hope we can help you out some time!

We have dropped off our corgi puppy with her for doggy daycare multiple times and she has always been great about sending updates and tiring out our pup (with the help of her 2 dogs, Drew and Alice)!
