Sarah can care for
Availability
I can be fully committed to your pets and home during the duration of the engagement. I do not take care of more than one family at a time. I can fit into your daily/weekly pet care routine.

Safety, trust & environment
I work with the client to understand the daily/weekly routine of the pets and home, and can meet those needs. I typically stay at the house so I can be present for the family pets and make them feel loved and cared for.
Information Sarah R. would like to know about your pet
The more I know, the better! I definitely need basic information like routine, feeding schedule and instructions, and any medications or allergies (as applicable), preferably in writing for easy reference. I'd also love to know your pets' likes, dislikes, and any quirks that make them unique!
A typical day
My goal is to give each and every pet as much love as I would my own. While I'm with your pet I'll pet and cuddle them as much as they can stand, probably give them a nickname or two, have a few nice chats with them, and make up little songs to sing to them. I've been known to get a little teary eyed at the end of my housesitting stays because I don't know when I'll get to see my furry friend again!

Pet care experience
I have cared for dogs, cats, fish, turtles and more -- young and old -- for family, friends and neighbors. I love this work and want to care for more family pets. I typically stay at the house where I'm caring for the pet(s) for the duration of the engagement and will take great care of your pets and your home.

Reviews

This was the second time we used Sarah as our pet sitter, and once again she exceeded our expectations. She is incredibly thoughtful and conscientious, always making sure she has accurate and detailed information about our pets' needs before we leave. We have an elderly dog and a cat, and it gives us great peace of mind knowing they are in such capable hands. She takes excellent care of them, keeps us updated with messages and is always attentive to any special needs or routines. When we return home, our pets are happy and well cared for, and the house is left spotless. We highly recommend Sarah to anyone looking for a reliable, caring, and professional pet sitter.

Misters can be very anxious around strangers, but he was happy as ever with Sarah! She left great updates on her drop-in visits and did a great job handling his special needs!

Sarah gave our dog the attention and care he needed! She left our home clean. Fast to reply and communicated daily.

Sarah did a great job with Bucky and Benji during her visit today. They were happy and full of energy when I got home. She sent two adorable pictures of them, too!
