I currently work full-time in office and sometimes on a hybrid schedule. I work 10 minutes from home and my availability is best suited for people looking for care between Thursdays-Sundays. I do not work on Saturdays and Sundays and have more flexibility to work from home on Thursdays and Fridays.

Before dog sitting for you, I'd like to know if your dog has any special needs regarding medical conditions, medication assistance, or anything related to the care they need or may need. I am comfortable providing medication for your dog, but would like to know about it beforehand.
A typical day
Your dog and I will go on walks, play in my fenced-in backyard, and visit the park if you give permission to do so. We also have a big sprinkler we would love to set up for your dog on a hot day in the backyard if you give permission to do so! Inside, we have ample space to play on the rug in the den and curl up for cuddles before bed.

…Have I told you I love your dog yet? I'm an animal lover who understands dogs are family. They need and deserve love, attention and respect! I've been a dog owner since I was 6 years old, and I have been a dog sitter for several friends and family friends over the years. I have experience with dogs from 7 months old to 14 years old. While I love dogs of all ages, I have a big ol’ soft spot in my heart for senior dogs. Sometimes I think life would be easier if that weren’t so, but here we are! These golden years are so special, and I consider it an honor to walk alongside any senior dog in this lifetime. I work in accounting, so why am I on Rover? A few months ago, my senior boxer Gypsy crossed the rainbow bridge after a valiant battle with cancer. While I may not be “ready” to fully welcome another dog into our home just yet, I have a lot of love and attention to spare for the dogs of Knoxville! Life is short, love a dog, am I right? I have a large fenced-in backyard to play in and a reliable/safe SUV to transport. My husband and I do not have kids or any animals. I do attract birds, rabbits and squirrels to my yard- so there’s plenty of entertainment. If I dog sit for your dog, you can rest assured they will be the only animal companion in my home. I do not book more than one booking at a time. I am flexible with incorporating what your dog is used to doing at home to make sure they are the most comfortable during their stay. If you want them on the furniture, that is okay by me. If not, we can work with that, too. Our play time, feeding, walks and chill time will be on their schedule as well. I’m well-versed in administering medication orally, even to the most stubborn of canine patients (you learn a few tricks of the trade with the senior crowd) and I am very well-organized when it comes to time-keeping with medications and schedules. Did I mention I love photography? I always have my camera on me and I’m willing to bet you’ll love the photo updates you get from me of your dog! If the weather permits, we may even be able to get a photo session in (with your permission of course). Thanks for stopping by and considering trusting me with your faithful companion! Sarah and her husband made Saje apart of their family while they had her for the weekend, lots of walks and hikes and ball time in her fenced yard!
