Pug mum who loves all dogs.
Dogs have always been a part of my life for as long as I can remember. Growing up my family had a bichon Shih Tzu mix named Zoe who lived to be 20 years old and was the heart of the household. That long bond has shaped how I see and care for animals. I am now myself a dog owner to my pug Pistachio who is 5 years old. I’m also well involved in my local neighbourhood community and regularly help out my friends by looking after their dogs. My experience of dog walking and dog sitting range across breeds and sizes. I genuinely enjoy getting to walk and dog sit other dogs as it lets me explore local parks and all the different walking paths. It’s a great way to get to know other neighbours and dogs along the way. I am comfortable administering medication and have a solid understanding of general health and safety. If your dog has specific needs, please let me know.

I have access to a communal back garden space but generally would take your dog to one of the many green spaces in Leith or the walking paths. I have one dog of my own who is very good at sharing her space and toys. I don’t have a dog crate, but if you require your dog to be crated at night I am happy to follow that routine.

Jarvis had a great time with Sarah and Pistachio. Chilling out and generally being a lazy boy. Would definately ask Sarah to take Jarvis again if I need a sitter.
Sarah is great with all types of dogs, nervous ones like mine (a Romanian rescue) as well as more energetic playful ones! She has her own dog Pistachio the pug who and is always ready with treats. All the dogs in the park love her. She is patient and would be a great choice for your pooch, you will not regret it!
I have known Sarah for 5 years and when it comes to dogs, she is super responsible, caring, and an experienced owner. She has cared for my dog Haggis countless times, as well as many other dogs in the neighbourhood! She treats Haggis like her own, he is always really spoiled and happy in her care. I wouldn’t leave him with anyone else!
Whether for a lunchtime walk, or for overnight stays, I wouldn’t hesitate trusting Sarah with my dog at any time. She is conscientious and kind, and my Luna is always delightful to see her!
Sarah has looked after my dog several times and has always done a great job. I know he had fun there because he was pulling towards her door as we tried to walk past. Afterwards she's told me all the things that they did, so i knew he was well looked after.

Schedule
I was recently made redundant at my office job so I’m currently between jobs. That said, I like to stick to a routine and have availability throughout the week, with weekends likely being a bit more limited.
