Loving Family Home for Small Dogs
My wife and I were dog owners for more than 15 years and miss having dogs as part of our daily lives. While we don't currently have any of our own, we're excited to welcome a few dog friends into our home and give them the love, attention, and care they deserve. We have two young children (ages 6 and 4) who are gentle and love animals. We're focused on creating a warm, family-oriented environment for friendly dogs that are comfortable around kids. To help ensure a great fit for everyone, we require a meet-and-greet before first time bookings. We focus on small and medium-sized dogs. During their stay, your pup will become part of our family. We pay close attention to their routine and cues, whether that's going for a walk, playtime, belly rubs, or a cozy spot to relax and cuddle. We'll do our best to follow your schedule, including feeding times, exercise, medications, and special instructions. We'll send regular photo updates (if you'd like) so you can see how everything is going. We're not looking to run a high-volume boarding business. We're excited to build relationships with a handful of local folks and provide a safe, loving home away from home where dogs are treated like part of the family.

So happy to have found a wonderful family in the neighborhood to leave our pup with when we can't bring her with! Riley stayed for a long weekend and based on all the photo updates had a great time. Sarah was the best sitter for my dog, Benny! She stayed at my house for two weeks while my wife and I traveled for our honeymoon. We couldn't have asked for a better companion for our dog while we were out of town for so long. He went to the dog park everyday and on long walks through our neighborhood in South Philly. I would definitely recommend Sarah to anyone!

Schedule
One of us is usually home most weekdays working remotely. There would be plenty of time for walks, pets, and time with humans. In the evenings, the whole family will be home for playing, walks, and lots of love.

Safety, trust & environment
We don't have a yard so would have plenty of walks in our leafy neighborhood, close to Clark Park. We do have a deck that is fenced in for relaxing, but not using the bathroom.
A typical day
I live in a great neighborhood for walks—Clark Park, around Penn, through West Philly, and into the Woodlands. West Philly is known for its abundance of trees and urban greenery.

What sets them off (mail person, strangers, men, etc..)?
