Some general things I would like to know: What time does your pet normally eat? Is your pet allowed on the furniture? How does your dog respond seeing other dogs or animals when out on a walk? Does he or she get startled if a bike/skateboard etc. goes by? Are there any behaviors you are working on correcting (or not reward)? - please let me know so that I can follow the same process!

I would like to mimic your pet's normal routine as much as possible while you are away - let me know where you like to take your dog for a walk or if they would rather play with a toy. You will not have to worry about a lack of cuddling either!

Hi, I'm Sarah! I am a lover of all dogs, regardless of shape or size. I have grown up around dogs - mainly the large lap dog type :) - and currently have an energetic Border Collie mix. I moved to Chicago at the end of 2023, and after a bit of a break from Rover, am looking to offer services in my free time. Prior to moving, I volunteered with Michigan Humane where I gained valuable experience working with a wide range of dog breeds and personalities. The group I volunteered with trained dogs using positive reinforcement training methods. I really enjoyed this role helping dogs build confidence and feel more comfortable in the shelter while they waited to find their forever home! I am willing to adjust service requests to meet your needs (for example, I can offer 15 minute check ins between "drop-in" visits), so feel free to send me a message. So happy with Sarah’s help! My pup loved her, she was on time and everything went perfectly.
Sarah was great walking my dog! I had a last minute request and she was quick to set up a meet and greet. She was also helpful with encouraging positive reinforcement training with my pup!
