A typical day
A typical day is tailored to your dog’s routine but generally includes plenty of exercise, enrichment, rest, and affection :) We’ll start the day with a morning walk and toilet break, followed by breakfast if that’s part of their normal schedule. I like to include a mix of walks, sniffing opportunities, playtime and enrichment such as scent games, training reinforcement, or puzzle activities, depending on what your pup enjoys. I make sure they have plenty of downtime too, so they’re not overstimulated. Between activities, they’ll have opportunities to relax, nap, and feel at home. I’ll stick as closely as possible to your dog’s usual routine, including feeding times, medication (if required), favourite walking routes, and any household rules. You’ll also receive regular updates and photos so you can see how they’re getting on while you’re away.

Pet care experience
Growing up caring for my own pets and those of friends and neighbours, dogs have always been a big part of my life. From owning and looking after Poodle mixes, South African mastiffs, a German Shepherd boy, a family of cats, to more recently raising a vivacious (!) Husky boy from 10 weeks old. I provide the same level of attention, affection, and responsibility to your furbaby as I’d expect for my own. I currently do not live with any pets, so your pooch will have the space to themselves :) Alongside walks I'm experienced in feeding, cleaning up, and ensuring dogs of different sizes, temperaments, and energy levels feel comfortable, engaged and well cared for while their owners are away. I also hold a DBS check and Pet Business Insurance.

I was fortunate to meet Sarah at work who immediately earned my trust by showing such interest and compassion towards my Golden and Westie who I had to bring in one day. Since then Sarah has looked after my dogs for 5 weekends in the last two years and even took the Golden to the vet for me when I was unable to. I could not trust anyone more with them. Her care and compassion is outstanding, she is protective of them and their space and knows to how manage interactions with other dogs whilst they are out walking. Sarah has looked after my dogs in my home as well as having them stay with her. 5 star service, I could not recommend her more.
