Empty Nest & Full of Snuggles
I have owned dogs all my life. My kids are grown and our family pet passed two years ago. I am not ready for a new dog yet, but would love to care for yours in my home. I have no other pets and only take one dog at a time. I live in a quiet neighborhood on the northwest side. I have several regular local clients who use me every year, but I am looking for some additional referrals during vacation season.

This was Winston’s second time with Sarah. He was so excited to see her which made me feel great about leaving him behind for a weekend trip out of town.
Sarah took wonderful care of our dog, Scout, while we were away for the weekend. We appreciated all of the pictures Sarah sent throughout the weekend, they helped us to see how happy and relaxed Scout was during her stay. It was obvious that Sarah treated Scout like one of her own. We would gladly have Sarah watch Scout again, and we highly recommend her to anyone looking for a caring and dependable pet sitter.
Sarah was so great with our dog for a long weekend. We will definitely seek her services again!

Sarah was great with our Penny girl! She was able to accommodate our timing quickly, very responsive, gave numerous updates, and best of all I believe that she enjoyed being with Penny as much as Penny with her.

Schedule
I am retired, so I am typically at home during the day. I do some volunteer work in the local schools, but my schedule is flexible. I am currently only accepting bookings with a two day minimum.

I have a home with fenced in back yard in a quiet, Edison Park neighborhood. I have no pets at this time, so your dog will be the focus of my attention. My favorite daytime spot is my sunny back deck where our sweet girl once lounged and napped for hours. (To be fair, so did I). I walk several miles each day, and would enjoy a canine companion for my stroll.
A typical day
I am a daily walker and would love to take your pup for a stroll. I am not a big fan of dog parks, but will happily throw a ball or play tug o’ war in my backyard.
