Availability
Pet care fits easily into my daily routine. I walk a lot, care for my own pets, manage an Airbnb we own, and do some part-time consulting, so my days are active but flexible. I’m used to managing my own schedule and can often work around the timing your pets need, whether that’s walks, feeding, drop-ins, playtime, or check-ins.

Safety, trust & environment
For everyone’s safety and comfort, I do not care for pets in my own home. I have semi-feral, extremely shy cats, and bringing unfamiliar animals into their space would not be fair to them or to visiting pets. In a client’s home, I focus on keeping pets comfortable in their normal environment and routine. I’m happy to provide walks, feeding, fresh water, litter box care, playtime, companionship, basic medication support, and lots of love and attention based on each pet’s personality and needs. I’m also respectful of your home and careful with doors, gates, leashes, instructions, and anything that helps your pet feel safe while you’re away.

Pet care experience
I’ve been an animal lover my entire life and have always had cats, dogs, or both in my home. I currently have five cats, including experience with semi-feral cats who need extra patience, calm energy, and trust-building. Our cats also have different eating habits, food sensitivities, allergies, and IBD, so I’m very used to caring for high-maintenance pets with specific routines and needs. I also recently owned a Border Collie mix for 10 years until she crossed the rainbow bridge, so I understand the needs of smart, active dogs who thrive on routine, attention, and exercise. I’m also a half-time dog mom to an adorable Shih Tzu with a very large personality and a questionable taste for snacks. Beyond my own pets, I frequently care for friends’ cats and dogs simply because I enjoy it. I’m comfortable with feeding routines, special diets, walks, litter boxes, playtime, basic medication support, shy pets, quirky personalities, and giving animals the time and space they need to feel safe.

Reviews
Sarah is a close friend and neighbor, and I trust her completely with my dogs, Beezie and Banksy. She walks them daily, has done pet check-ins, kept them overnight in her home, and has even helped Banksy improve his potty skills. Banksy is always excited to see Sarah, and she has somehow convinced Queen Beezie to go on daily walks most of the time. She has also created an entire persona for Banksy, written him a bio, and suggested his signature bow tie as part of his wardrobe — which shows how much she notices, understands, and enjoys the pets she cares for. Sarah is reliable, patient, loving, and attentive. She treats my dogs like her own, and I would absolutely recommend her to anyone looking for trustworthy pet care.
Sarah loves on my two cats from the minute she walks in the door and Itsy is always happy to see her. She gives the very best attention to each cat even if Miso whole heartedly believes in stranger equals danger. Sarah carefully follows the instructions I have listed for them. I trust Sarah to keep my cats safe and happy when I’m away.
Sarah is one of those people animals seem to immediately feel comfortable with. Over the years, she helped walk and care for my late dog, Abe, a giant Newfoundland, and she was always calm, confident, and loving with him despite his size. She has also regularly cared for my two cats, Lady and Maude, along with my flock of chickens. I trust Sarah completely in my home and with my animals. She is reliable, thoughtful, attentive, and genuinely loving, and I would recommend her without hesitation.
Use this one: I would highly recommend Sarah to anyone looking for reliable, caring pet care. She has spent time with my two very large Labs, Savannah and Dallas — and Savannah has never weighed less than 100 pounds! Sarah is comfortable around big dogs with big personalities, and she brings a calm, thoughtful presence to animals of all sizes. We live out in the country, and Sarah has also helped me think through pet-safe alternatives to traditional weed killers — not only for our dogs, but for the local wildlife around our home, including resident deer and a huge groundhog we call GG. She even helped me consider how my cat’s unlikely best friend, a neighborhood opossum named Rocky, could safely enjoy the occasional cat food without attracting additional predators. Sarah is attentive, kind, practical, and genuinely loves animals. She notices the details, cares about their safety, and approaches every animal situation with common sense and heart. I would trust her completely with my pets and recommend her without hesitation.
