I have lived in Tahoe for 25 years and always had my own dog and watched over my friend's dogs throughout the years. My best friend (Maggie - Retriever) passed away 18 months ago and I watch many of my friend's dogs frequently, including an elderly short hair retriever that is battling pancreatic cancer. I work from home and board my friend's dogs as well as check in and walk dogs when owners need help. I do have a number of recent references.

Sarah is a dog person, she loves dogs and they love her. In her growing up years her family had 2 dogs, in her grown up life she has had 2 dogs. Last year she said goodbye to her second dog, an English lab, which was heartbreaking for her. Now she is in a position to care for other dogs. Sarah so enjoys having a dog to love and take good care of. Sarah works from home so any dog she cares for has a human around to be near and she loves to take dogs a for walks and hikes in her area. Schedule
I have worked from home for 25 years. I am very active and walk frequently. I am an early morning riser and monitor how often dogs need a walk or outside break. Pets are a part of my daily routine.

Safety, trust & environment
My home: I have beds set up and recognize different doggy routines, ie need to go on the porch for sun, or need to go out for a break and walk. I have a section on my porch and in the laundry area for their food and water and a special area where I organize all the food, medication, leaches, doggy bags. I have a place by my couches with a large basket with balls, toys and stuffed doggy animals. I watch a number of my friend's dogs, and each has a unique and special routine and they have all come to trust me a look forward to visiting. I stay a bit at some of my friend's houses if they want me to help with house watch, plants, delivery receipt and other home needs while they are traveling and away on extended trips.
