A Quiet Home Away From Home 🐾

Weekday Dropoff Timeframe: after 5:00 p.m. Weekday Pickup Timeframe: after 5:00 p.m. Weekend pickup/dropoff Timeframe: Pretty Flexible Meet and Greets prior to your first booking with me are welcome and free of charge! I’ve been a dog owner for many years and have also fostered rescue dogs, so I understand that every dog is an individual. Some dogs love a busy environment full of playmates, while others are happiest somewhere quiet where they can relax and be the only pet. My home is especially suited to dogs who need that quieter experience. I have no other pets in my home as my most recent dog passed away at the age of 18, and I accept only one family’s dog(s) at a time. Your dog won’t be sharing their stay with unfamiliar animals. This can be a wonderful alternative for senior dogs, sensitive or anxious dogs, and dogs who simply don’t enjoy the company of other pets. 🏡 A Home, Not a Kennel I have a fenced-in yard where your dog can safely enjoy fresh air, sniff around, play, or lounge outside. Inside, dogs are treated like family. They’re welcome on the furniture, and if your dog normally sleeps in bed with you and would be happiest sleeping with me, they’re welcome there too! My goal is to make their stay feel as much like home as possible. ❤️ Your Dog’s Routine Is My Routine You know your dog best. I’m happy to follow the routine they’re accustomed to, including: * Feeding and treat schedules * Walks, playtime and potty routines * Bedtime and sleeping arrangements * Favorite toys and activities * Cuddles and companionship * Any special instructions that help your dog feel comfortable and secure I’ll also keep you updated so you can enjoy your time away knowing how your dog is doing. 🐕 Especially Welcoming to Dogs Who Prefer Being the Only Pet Because there are no resident pets and I board only one family’s dogs at a time, my home may be an especially good fit for: * Senior dogs who appreciate peace and quiet * Shy, anxious or sensitive dogs * Dogs who become overwhelmed in traditional boarding environments * Dogs who are selective about other animals * Dogs who simply prefer being the only pet in the household My experience fostering rescue dogs has taught me the importance of patience, respecting a dog’s boundaries, and giving them time and space to feel comfortable in a new environment. I want you to feel comfortable leaving your dog with me, and I want your dog to feel safe, loved and at home while you’re away. One family at a time. A fenced yard. No other pets. Lots of love.

I honestly can’t think of anyone I would trust more with my pets than Sarah. She has such a genuine love for animals, and anyone who knows her has seen how devoted she is to her dogs. She cared for her pom, Nixie, with so much love and dedication right up until the very end, and she has always treated her animals like family. And somehow she even manages to spoil Louie, her betta fish, with his own little couch. That pretty much tells you everything you need to know! Sarah is loving, attentive, responsible, and exactly the kind of person you’d want caring for your pets. I would trust her completely with mine. ❤️

Sarah is one of the most caring and dedicated animal lovers I know. She helped me care for my dog during his battle with kidney disease, and I saw firsthand how patient, gentle, and attentive she was during a very difficult time. I have also watched Sarah care for her own dogs over the years, and the love and dedication she gives them is exceptional. She understands that every dog has an individual personality and different needs, especially senior dogs or dogs who may need a little extra patience and attention. I would trust Sarah completely with my dog. She is responsible, compassionate, attentive, and genuinely loves animals. I would highly recommend her to anyone looking for someone who will treat their dog like a member of the family.
