Your pet's safety is my top priority! Their comfort and happiness is very important to me. I am reliable, timely and respectful. I’m very conscientious about making sure that backyards are secure before letting dogs out and leashes/collars are fastened before starting a walk. I always make sure everything is locked up before I leave. I think open communication is essential to taking proper care of pets and knowing their personalities/boundaries are key. Please know that your pet will be cared for and loved while you’re away.

Please let me know what I can do to make your dog feel secure and happy. Does your dog have any special needs or care instructions? I’d love to learn about your dog’s energy level ahead of time. Not all dogs love long walks. Some love to play fetch. Others need lots of snuggles. Does he/she like meeting new dogs? What does he/she think about kids? Does he/she pull on a leash? Let's talk about your dog and how I can best accommodate his/her needs while you're away!
A typical day
There are so many trails in this area to explore. I especially love the trails along ponds and rivers. Great scenery and scents along the way!

Animals have been part of my life since I was a child. I grew up in a home that always had pets...birds, fish, hamsters, cats and dogs. I carried that love of pets forward and have always had dogs and cats in my home to love and care for. I currently have a sweet elderly dog named Jack. I am that person that loves meeting other dogs and their people on walks! I am an empty nester looking to spend my extra time caring for other’s pets. I am new at the pet sitting gig but have years of experience taking care of my family’s, friend’s and coworker's fur babies.

Sarah was fantastic from day our initial inquiry til the very end. I contacted her at the last minute for clients whose wedding venue required their dog, Storm, be off-site following the ceremony. Sarah was very open and communicative, prompt, and amazing with Storm as soon as they met! Thank you, Sarah, for making it possible for Storm to be part of this couple’s wedding day.
Sarah was wonderful! We didn't even have a chance to meet in person and she came to walk our dog when we had a long day competition in Steamboat. She was SUPER communicative and that was so helpful to make us feel like our pup was completely taken care of. She sent pictures and everything. It was just perfect and I will definitely call on her again.
