I'm self-employed so my work pattern varies from week to week, which is why last minute bookings work well for me. Whatever your pet needs please just ask - I'll be happy to help if I can.

Safety, trust & environment
I have my own dog who will stay at home whilst I look after yours, unless they get on well and are happy to be together. When staying at ours I have a small fenced garden of my own, as well as communal gardens for quick breaks and toileting. I'm 5 minutes from Wandsworth Common, and 15 minutes from Tooting Common. Whether I'm collecting your dog for a walk or sitting with them in your home whilst you're away, I will treat your home and your pet with care and respect.

Information Sarah O. would like to know about your pet
A discussion about your pet is really important and a chance to meet them with you before the first handover/pick up is a great way to learn everything about your pet and for you to ask me any questions. If that's not going to be possible let's talk on the phone or FaceTime before you book.
A typical day
My priority is the welfare of your pet. It's important they feel secure and comfortable and their needs are fully met. So tell me what they enjoy, what they don't like and what's their idea of heaven, then I can ensure they get the care that's just right for them. Long walks, short walks, cuddles or alone time, playtime or just a really nice nap - their preferences will be my mine :)

Pet care experience
I fostered over 50 dogs for Battersea Dogs & Cats Home from 2008 to 2015. Those 7 years taught me a lot about dogs and dog behaviour! I looked after a range of breeds for Battersea in my home - from the very young to the elderly. I'm experienced in managing behavioural issues and have tended those with significant medical needs.
Reviews

We’re so grateful to have Sarah nearby to help with our cheeky, nervous 11 month old rescue pup. Sarah's been so kind and generous in supporting him (and us!) as he settles into his new life with us. Sarah's very clearly super experienced with all sorts of dogs, and it’s been incredibly reassuring to have her just around the corner. Our pup joined a few walks to get to know both her and her lovely dog, then had a trial half day, before then staying with her for a weekend - and everything has gone really well. We felt very confident leaving him in Sarah's care and loved her pics and updates :) Thank you, Sarah! And cannot recommend Sarah more highly!

I cannot thank Sarah enough for her help, time and effort with our nervous rescue pup! Sarah is incredibly knowledgeable, and a very calming and positive influence - for us and the dog! We went on two walks with Sarah so our rescue pup could get to know her and her lovely dog. We then booked a trial half day before we went away for a few nights and left our dog with Sarah. We received photos and updates and felt so reassured he was in excellent care. He clearly loved his stay. So pleased we found Sarah! Thank you so much.

Sarah is just the loveliest dog sitter! She took such great care of Bonnie. Wouldn't hesitate to re-book!

Sarah is always excellent with phoebe. Phoebe loves her visits and I have total peace of mind while I’m away that she’s happy, having great walks and being looked after amazingly. 100% recommend.
