I've been an animal lover and pet companion my entire life. I worked in veterinary hospitals previously and have achieved the highest possible volunteer status at Heart of the Valley Animal Shelter. I am experienced in working with animals from a wide range of backgrounds and needs, and I pride myself in providing care that keeps your furry family members safe and comfortable. I am an excellent communicator and very dependable, so you will never be left feeling in the dark or wondering what’s going on while your pet is in my care. I've cared for dogs of all sizes and breeds as well as cats, rabbits, reptiles, rodents, fish, horses, chickens, and goats. I am comfortable and experienced caring for seniors, pets with special needs, allergies and dietary restrictions, and pets that require medication. I hope that my experience with an array of animals of varying medical and behavioral profiles leaves you feeling confident that your family members are in good hands with me!

Best pet sitter I have ever had!
Sarah was so patient with my nervous girl Scooter! I was so nervous about leaving her for the first time but Sarah eased my mind with her detailed updates and photos. I knew my animals were in the right hands! She will definitely be my go to for pet sitting :)
Sarah was great with Shiloh. She is an amazing person who loves animals. Sarah sent pictures everyday so we could see him play and have fun. I would recommend Sarah highly as she cares for your pet , ad if it were her own pet. Sarah is Terrific. Thank you so much for all you did for Shiloh, he was well taken care of and loved by all. Sarah not only was able to accommodate my weird schedule with work, but kept me up to date on my pup every day. I was extremely nervous to leave her anywhere as this was the first time she would be with someone not me, especially after her owner has just died the week before. Sarah and her husband were miracle workers with Willow. She got her zoomies back, she started to have her happiness again. I can not suggest Sarah enough to anyone who could possibly have need of a sitter!
Sarah is fantastic! I always know my fur baby is in good hands when she's watching him, and I can count on her to make sure he's happy and healthy. I cannot recommend her enough!
Sarah took care of our pets while we were on vacation, and really gave us the peace of mind we needed! She sent pictures every day and our pets loved her! We were away for a week and she was responsive the whole time. PLUS, I think our house was cleaner than we left it. Thank you Sarah; we will be reaching out again in the future!

Schedule
I work remotely, making me capable of caring for your pet(s) in your home or my own. I have flexibility with my schedule, so I can accommodate most feeding, exercise, and break routines your pets are used to!

Safety, trust & environment
I have a fenced yard on 1/3 of a acre, live in a quiet neighborhood near a paved trail, and am half a mile away from a small local dog park. Our pets are part of our family, and your pet is, too, while in my care! My two dogs and three cats are all allowed on furniture and beds. We separate everyone for feeding (and as needed when there are furry guests staying with us), and each animal in my home or that I care for experiences lots of snuggles, play time, exercise, and plenty of peace and quiet as well.

A typical day
Dogs staying with me can enjoy being treated like part of the family. I have numerous puzzles, lick mats, kongs, snuffle mats, food toys, and other forms of mental stimulation. Our dog toys are for all to enjoy, and my house is “pet-proof” and safe. We have a decent sized fenced yard in a safe, quiet neighborhood to enjoy walking as well as access to a local dog park.
