I dog sit frequently and therefore have been exposed to a variety of different ages, breeds, and temperaments. I feel very comfortable around dogs and am competent at reading their behavior. I also have previous experience volunteering at a shelter and grew up with 2 family dogs.

Sarah did an amazing job caring for my two cats and my dog while I was on vacation. She's genuinely responsible and loving, and she even handled my dog's flea medication without any issues, which was a huge relief for me. She sent photos and updates several times a day, so I always felt in the loop. She also tidied up their feeding area, which was such a nice surprise to come home to. She even spent extra time playing with my dog in my apartment's dog park to burn off his energy at the end of each day. I can't recommend her enough, she is my first choice of pet sitter when I go out of town!

Schedule
I currently am in graduate school for Physical Therapy at MUSC, so I have a consistent weekly class schedule, but have evenings and weekends available for your pups!

I care for pets by prioritizing consistency, safety, and clear communication with the owner. In both my home and a client’s home, I follow the pet’s normal routine as closely as possible—this includes feeding schedules, walks, playtime, medications if needed, and any specific instructions the owner provides. In a client’s home, I make sure the pet stays comfortable in their familiar environment while also keeping the space clean and secure. I provide regular updates with photos so owners feel reassured while they’re away.
