Home Full-Time, Pet-Friendly Home
*Please note that I cannot do boarding for untrained dogs/puppies. (Walks, drop-ins, house sitting in your home, etc is generally fine! This applies moreso to services in my home). This includes any tendencies to relieve themselves indoors, destroy any non-toy items (ie furniture, shoes, etc) that are not meant to be destroyed, and/or excessive barking if I step away to grab the mail, work out, etc. It’s nothing at all against the pup or the owner - I just want to avoid any liabilities/frustrating relationships not only between me & owners but also out of respect for my home, neighbors, & apartment community. If this is fine - here’s a little about me! I have been pet sitting for years now... dogs, cats, even bunnies! I love it enough to sometimes wishing I could just do this full-time... [For boarding] My apartment community has a huge, safe park right outside my door for walks and play. I have no children in the home but do have a super friendly young cat. If a pet owner is uncomfortable with having her around their pet, I have a spacious apartment that has allowed for her to just have access to her favorite room while your pet has access to the rest. Hope all the details below answer most questions, but don’t hesitate to reach out if not. Look forward to meeting your best friend! :)

sarah was so communicative & a fast responder! She found my apartment easily and was able to walk my dog for me. The pictures she sent were so cute, I know my storm was in great hands! thank you sarah (-:

Thank you for taking great care of Kylo and Eevee!

Really appreciate Sarah’s cat “whisper” traits in support of Paloma and I - will certainly use her again!

Sarah is the best! I had another sitter cancel two days before my trip and sarah came to the rescue. She took such great care of my cat and dog! Lots of walks and love! She also put on calming music for the hours she was not there! She sent lots of pictures which put my mind at ease on my trip letting me relax knowing my pets were taken care of! Will definitely be using her services again and again

Sarah did an excellent job with our puppy and two cats. Especially since the puppy can be a bit rambunctious. She was very professional and very patient with us throughout the whole process. Would highly recommend her services

I used Sarah for the first time to dog sit for my senior deaf dog, Lucy. I will definitely use her again! She was very responsive and responsible. I received daily updates with photos showing Lucy on a walk, sleeping on her bed and eating her meals. I highly recommend Sarah.
Calendar and availability
Schedule
I work from home most days and live in Addison, but sometimes go into the office which is in Knox Henderson area… so it is highly likely (I hope) that my location and availability will align with yours! Even for in-office days I can usually take your pet out in-between meetings or plan accordingly! If I can’t for any reason I’ll let you know and won’t confirm the booking. I work for a pet-loving company (we have a slack channel for pets…) that encourages pets around to keep us company as we work.

Home characteristics
Safety, trust & environment
I care a lot about the safety and health of my clients’ pets, I’m in communication if I see something new about your best friend that I didn’t see the first day I received him/her. I tend to provide a longer recap on the end of the first day so you can let me know if there’s something you can do differently and to put your mind at ease on day 1. Then I still send photos/messages, just not as heavily so that you’re able to be present where you are and not alarmed every time I reach out :)
Pets
A typical day
If you leave toys, I usually put those to use. I love taking dogs out for long walks, they’re the best accountability partner and sometimes will jog lightly with them depending on age/physical limitations of the dog.

- Feeding & medicine schedule/amounts, allergies, health issues or injuries, fears or trauma, walking/feeding schedule that they're used to, any separation anxiety (heavy barking, door scratching etc), any uneasiness (car rides, potty training etc). I have a young cat who gets along very well with other people, cats, and dogs. But please note on your profile if your pet gets along with cats, other people, kids, and animals and I can either make adjustments with her or communicate with transparency if it may not be a good fit. I also ask that you provide the pet food, treats, leash, and any other items that may be needed for his/her care (most of the time just those items are fine, but some owners leave things that their furry friends love or remind them of home).
