Hi there! I'm Sarah - I live in Nevada City and work for a healthcare company (from home, so my schedule is entirely flexible). I've been a pet-sitter in various capacities for about 15 years; from staying at owner's houses to keep their furry friends safe, happy, and at ease, to daily drop-ins and dog walks - I've even had some experience with reptiles and birds! I'm new(ish) to the area (originally from Maryland, but moved to Nevada County a few months ago from San Francisco) but consider myself an active volunteer and member of this wonderful town. I love to hike, explore dog parks with my own pup, and host/attend dog playdates as much as possible. Caretaking has always been a passion of mine as a healthcare worker, but that certainly doesn't stop with humans. I can't wait to hear from you and provide your pet the best care, catered to your requests and their needs; I have ample time throughout the day to take walks, go to parks, or drop in to spend some time with your furry friend if preferred. I own a car, have a license, and can generally make myself available in any way that best suits your pet(s) needs. I don't have a yard, however, I love in a large condo with two floors, which I've often used to separate dogs and other animals if needed. I live a quick 10 minute walk from Pioneer Park, and frequent other local dog parks, so can guarantee your pal as much exercise and social time as they may need! I live with my fiance and our very gentle, medium-sized cockapoo Rigatoni; we love hikes and nature and don't host parties or leave the house for extended periods of time, so your pet will always be in a safe, caring environment, and will receive full attention in an extremely dog-friendly, clean environment.
