Dog-Loving Researcher in Cambridge
I have been a dog owner since 11 years old (a total of 4 beagles in my lifetime, 2 at a time). I was previously employed at Wag 'N Wash for 2 years, a self-wash and grooming establishment in New Jersey. At Wag 'N Wash, I learned to work with dogs in stressful situations such as grooming and bathing. I understand how to approach and handle dogs that may be anxious upon my arrival for a walk or drop-in visit. Additionally, I have about 1 year of volunteer dog-shelter experience. In my home town in New Jersey, I was hired by several families over the years to take care of their pets. Since then, I have expanded my care to Cambridge and have been a Rover walker/sitter for over 3 years! I have extensive experience with walking, feeding, bathing, and playing with dogs and feeding/cleaning the litter boxes of cats, and have picked up house-sitting skills along the way (I always make sure plants stay watered 😉)

I currently live in a dog-friendly apartment but with little space and no yard. I do not have a dog with me right now, as my family dogs are in my house in New Jersey with more space and a fenced-in yard. Therefore, my services while in Cambridge are limited to walks and check-ins to be fair to the dog. I am comfortable with checking in whenever needed and walking around Cambridge and Boston, as well as visiting dog parks.

we had a great experience with Sarah! She stayed at our place and watched our dog and cat for a few days. She left the apartment better than when she arrived and took great care of the pets :)

Sarah was polite, prompt, and even able to accommodate some minor changes of plan with short notice! Tala had a great time with her and we would be happy to book again in the future.
Sarah was great for our pets! Came over and made sure she knew what to do and was easy to contact and coordinate with.
Sarah was the best! She came over a few days prior to meet us and our dog and review the plan. On the day of, she was right on time and gave Meadow a 5-star visit, including super cute pictures for us! Much appreciated. Hope to work with Sarah again soon!

Schedule
I am currently working full time. With that being said, Tuesdays, Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays are my most flexible days. I can do daytime check-ins or walks as I am remote for work on those days. On weekdays, I am available from 6:30am-8am and again from 5:30pm-8pm.
