Over the years, I’ve gotten pretty good at sensing what makes animals feels safe. I always air on the side of caution at first, and once I earn their trust I do my best to learn what makes them feel most content! If I’m coming into your home (and your pet’s home!), I always go out of my way to make sure I leave things clean and tidy, and exactly how you left it. If I’m walking your pup, I like to plan a route beforehand to make sure it’s nothing but a good time. If there’s anything in particular that makes you pet feel safe please let me know! For instance, my cats like to be wrapped up in blankets. I’ll do whatever I can to make your pet feel cozy in your absence.

Does your dog have any fears, quirks or triggers? For instance, if they’re terrified of cars (like my dog was) I’ll make sure to walk them on quieter blocks or in parks! My main goal is to be a fun and reliable addition to your pet's life, and to make sure they have the best time! I would never want to upset them, so a quick heads up would be perfect.
A typical day
I can guarantee that I will show your pup a good time! From walks around the block and going to the dog park, to playing with toys. I'll be more than happy to do whatever it is your pet loves. Whatever their routine is, I’ll do my best to match it.

Pet care experience
I have bounced around from job to job over the years, but I always come back to pet sitting! There's nothing more fulfilling than spending your day caring for animals. I've worked for pet sitting companies, pet sat for family and friends, and worked for veterinarians. I have experience house sitting, dog walking (all sized dogs - all ages), feeding, some grooming, administering oral and injectable medications, giving fluids, but most of all cuddling, loving and playing! My experience is not limited to dogs either. I have sat for dogs, cats, birds, rodents, and even fish! You can trust that your pet will be happy, safe, and well cared for in your absence!

Sarah is so easy to coordinate with and such a great sitter. Plus she always sends the best photos. I can tell she really loves and cares about pets so I feel confident leaving my cats in her hands!

I have been using Rover for a number of years in different locations, and never have I been more impressed than with Sarah. It became apparent quickly this is not just a job to her, but a passion. She went above and beyond in every way, from showing genuine love and care for my cat, to testing out different food portions to find just the right amount for him and communicating with me every step of the way, to washing out his food bowls and spoons used to empty the food cans for me, to even bringing in my mail for me! She also gave a very detailed description each day I was gone of what she and my cat did together, a status on his spirits and how he was eating, and always accompanied by many photos of my cat and their activities during her visit. I will definitely be scheduling with Sarah again for any future cat sitting needs! Thanks again, Sarah!
