I've cared for dogs and cats for friends, family, and neighbors for the past several years, including regularly watching a senior Shih Tzu — administering his medication and adjusting to his slower pace and specific needs. I also help care for my roommate's Blue Heeler, a high-energy breed that requires regular exercise and mental stimulation, so I'm comfortable with active, driven dogs as well as calmer, senior ones. I'm experienced with medical needs, multi-pet households, and adapting my approach to each pet's individual energy level and temperament — whether that means a brisk walk to burn off energy or a slow, patient stroll for an older dog. For medications I have experience administering oral medications, eye drops, and occasional injections as needed. Sarah Miller is absolutely amazing! She currently watches my dog and I trust her completely. Not only is she so kind and sweet but very protective and makes sure he’s ok at all times. I get lots of updates and photos throughout the day and she always alerts me immediately if she thinks something is wrong. I’ve never had to worry about him when she’s watching him. Additionally my dog is very active so when she’s not walking with him she will throw his toy or play with him. Couldn’t recommend her enough!!!
Sarah is THE BEST dog sitter!! So attentive to our dog Teddy's needs & medications, sends lots of pictures & updates, and is just so sweet with him. Teddy can get anxious when we leave for the weekend, but immediately lights up when he knows he gets to spend time with Sarah! He comes home happy and relaxed every time. Highly recommend :)

Schedule
I work full-time from home, which gives me flexibility to fit walks and visits into my day without needing a rigid schedule. I'm generally available Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Friday, Saturday, and Sunday, and can adjust my blocks as needed to accommodate your pet's routine. Thursdays I'm away from home for work, so I'm not available that day. But every other day of the week, there's usually a window that works.
