My primary concern is always my safety and theirs. If the dog is shy, how should it be handled? If the dog gets upset without their owner, etc. the more details the better. Additionally, I am not comfortable keeping cats outside if they are indoor/outdoor due to personal risk. I will keep them inside throughout.
A typical day
Walks, runs, lots of play. I am most willing to do whatever makes the owner comfortable and safe. I am happy to provide many activities as approved by owner.

I’ve worked off and on with pet sitting since I was 15 years old, both cats and dogs. I have additional skillsets in working with shelter animals who frighten easily and senior pets with health issues.

Whether it was walks, playtime, cuddles, or simply making sure all of his needs were met, Sarah went above and beyond. What I appreciated most was how genuinely she cares about animals. Sarah watched our pup, Zuri, at our house for us while we were away for 10 nights. Zuri loved her time with Sarah, and Sarah was great at providing updates and photos for us :) I highly recommend her!
As a cat owner, I know it’s important to find someone attentive and patient. Sarah was amazing and kept us updated, our cat can be shy at first but we came home to a happy kitty.
